First the good news....
This is a good news and bad news app. The good news is that it stores the maps on your device and it's only a few bucks, and it has maps for Swedish cities large and small.
The bad news is that the points of interest in each map are not displayed by icons on the map, but must be selected from a directory, which leads them to be identified and flagged on the map. Not bad for a small town like Jonkoeping but awful for Stockholm. I suppose you could do some internet research on these places and bookmark them for later when you arrive. A much better option for Stockholm is the Triposo travel guide which locates the points of interest by icons on the map by neighborhood and has far richer content.
I'm giving it one star to balance out the other review, which is far too generous in its praise (probably from relatives of the developer).

worked great!
This was my most used app of the six I downloaded for our recent trip to Sweden. We didn't have reliable internet or an international data plan, so this was our only app that we could keep track of our hotel and tourist spots, and could easily access while walking.
