Quickly and Easily Orient Yourself in Parks
I use “Sweep: Explore Outdoors!” to orient myself on park trails and park roads. It’s helpful in finding trail highlights and park amenities. I camp using a small RV and can easily find the RV dump station before I head out by using this app.
I was introduced to the app when hiking in a Texas state park. My friend and I were trying to find a vista marked on the park map. We weren’t sure if we passed the turnoff or not. While I was fumbling with the park’s paper map comparing it to my tracker app, she opened Sweep and quickly identified where we were.
