Love this app but desperately hoping they add an option to create one-time tasks!!!
Fun, wish coins had more meaning
Really enjoying this to help reduce decision fatigue and keep our household on track in a way that feels measurable but accessible! I wish coins had more meaning - would love to see a feature where we can add our own incentives or coupons that household members can buy with their coins. Like trading in x number of coins for getting to pick the dinner spot or the movie

Potential
It has a lot of great features. But it’s locked me out on browser sign in, it won’t let me add a new member despite paying for the full membership, you can’t change the home leader, and you can see chores only by room- it would be good to see individual chores needing to be done in order or importance. Plus it gives an average rating for the whole room which doesn’t reflect needs, this setting should be an option to see or not

Pretty Glitchy
Overall, I find the Sweepy app really helpful. It does a great job of helping me stay on top of household chores and keeps me from letting things pile up or get forgotten. However, the app is extremely glitchy and definitely needs some improvement.
The biggest issue I’ve encountered is the profile photo. I have tried many, many times to upload one, using different photos and file types, and it fails every single time. At this point, it doesn’t seem like a problem with the photo—it seems like the upload feature simply isn’t working.
I was also really excited about the gamification mode because I thought it would be a fun way to use the points I earn. Unfortunately, that feature doesn’t seem to work either. You can spend your points to purchase items, but the items don’t actually appear in your room, so there’s no way to see or use what you’ve purchased. I’m honestly not sure what the intended functionality is supposed to be, but right now it feels unfinished or broken.
I really like the concept of Sweepy and find the core chore-tracking features genuinely useful, but these glitches make the overall experience frustrating. Could be so much better
I genuinely love this app and use it most days, but it could be so much better with a few small tweaks! I get that not everyone would want these changes, but I think the workaround would be to make them optional so at least some people can choose them if they want:
1) When I trialled the paid version, I was really hoping that the rooms (the ones that you decorate using the coins you’ve earned by cleaning) would be individual to each household member. I obviously want the tasks to be shared but, for me, I like to furnish them in a way that’s fun/exciting for me, not for the whole household. The idea that others could come in and play about with the rooms I’ve curated over time by cleaning just gets rid of the novelty of it for me.
2) Also on the paid version, there’s no option to have fully private rooms for different household members. This isn’t a huge thing but it’d be nice to have the option for my bedroom, for example, to be private just for me. I trust my housemate but also would feel self conscious and demotivated if they could see how well I was keeping on top of cleaning my bedroom.
3) For some reason you can sort the room’s by cleanliness but there’s no option to just sort all tasks by cleanliness/when you last completed them. I’d find this so useful as sometimes focusing on the room as a whole isn’t the best option for me. I get that the AI feature in the paid version sort of does this a bit, but not really in a straightforward way. I just want to be able to sort *all* household tasks from dirtiest to cleanest!

Keeps redownloading
I deleted this app ages ago, and it keeps redownloading automatically onto my iPhone. What is happening !!
incredible functionality, well worth subscription
i never post app reviews but i’ve been searching for a household task manager with these functions for years now and nothing has come close to this app. the tools unlocked with the subscription are incredibly powerful for the price point. i also like that you can turn off/modify any gamification aspects.
i’m still populating my tasks, but even only partially completed, i’ve been able to complete so much more without the mental load of remembering what needs done when. a feature that i’d really love to see in the future would be the ability to make a task “playlist” essentially, linking certain tasks that might be part of a daily routine or steps to a larger project. also, the ability to flag a task as having a barrier, maybe earning an effort point for noting a potential solution.
overall phenomenal app that’s a great value; it’s already proven its worth in the sense of relief i’m starting to feel at the state of my living space.

I have ADHD and this app has really helped me and my (non-ADHD) partner keep on top of household chores. I like that it gives a history timeline of the chores you’ve done.

Love the idea but doesn’t work
Go to add a room and it then jumps to a white screen. Even tried paying for subscription to see if that helped and it didn’t

I thought this app was great as I was getting it set up, but the one feature I actually downloaded it for wasn't available in the free version. The ad I saw advertised being able to share with family members, and I was going to use this to divide up chores with my boyfriend who has trouble goal setting/ remembering to-dos.

Great for sharing responsibilities
I’m really enjoying this and I don’t enjoy cleaning. I do enjoy competing and sharing responsibilities without assigning everyone their specific tasks.
Not everyone is going in and checking things off, but I can switch to their profile and check it off. Lots of opportunities to adjust features to fit your family. I’m still tweaking and adding stuff, but 10 out of 10 so far…

Reduces mental load
If you have a neuro-spicy household dividing chores is a source of drama. No more nagging, gamified house cleanup keeps things fresh and helps with accountability. If I need to know the last time a chore was done, the info is all saved for us. Worth the subscription in the first week of use! Seriously get this app and get your family doing their fair share.

Sort of useful but could be so much better
The app itself is useful. My partner uses it heavily. However as someone with ADHD, I frequently forget to mark tasks I’ve done, or forget to look at what needs doing.
It would be great if you could create QR codes or use NFC stickers to have an easy way to scan/tap to mark a task as completed.
