About

Your camera roll has thousands of photos in it. You know some of them can go. You have never once opened Photos and started deleting, because where would you even begin? Sweepy begins for you. Twenty photos at a time. HOW IT WORKS Swipe left to bin. Swipe right to keep. Swipe up to favorite, and that one goes into your Favorites album for real. Twenty photos make a round: short enough to finish while the kettle boils, long enough to feel like you got somewhere. Changed your mind halfway through? Undo takes the last swipe back. NOTHING VANISHES BY ACCIDENT This is the part that matters. Swiping left deletes nothing. It puts the photo in Sweepy's own trash, where it waits. Open that trash whenever you like. Look at every photo in it. Put any of them back. Only when you tap Delete does anything actually leave your library, all at once, with iOS asking you to confirm. And even then they land in Recently Deleted in the Photos app, where you have 30 days to change your mind again. Two safety nets before a photo is really gone. One honest note while we're here: iOS gives the space back once Recently Deleted is emptied, or after those 30 days pass by themselves. FIVE WAYS IN By month — oldest first, one month at a time. The archaeology run. Screenshots — the easy wins. Nobody needs the receipt from 2021. Large files — biggest first, so you free the most space per swipe. Videos — where the gigabytes actually hide. Rush — thirty of anything, in no particular order, for when you don't want to choose. Videos play right there in the deck. Tap one and watch it before you decide. IT REMEMBERS A photo you keep is a photo you never see again. Sweepy remembers every decision, so the next round brings you new photos instead of the ones you already thought about. Finish a round and your streak goes up. Come back tomorrow and it keeps going. YOUR PHOTOS STAY YOURS No account. No sign-up. No server. Sweepy never uploads a photo anywhere, and everything it knows lives on this device and nowhere else. You can even hand it a selection of your library instead of the whole thing — it will sort only those.
