Love the ice cream but the app has major issues on iPhone
I love going to sweet cow. I also really would like their app to work so this negative review is in hopes of getting the developers attention and fixing it. This review has no reflection of their ice cream. This is on iOS on an iPhone 14
1. Notifications for when a flavor comes around just doesn’t work. The toggle is also unintuitive.
2. When you select a flavor to get details, you cannot go back, you have to kill the app. The X in the upper right has no effect.

App doesn’t work
Stopped working a while, back. If the developer doesn’t want to fix it, they should just take it off of the App Store. Great ice cream shop though.
App not loading on IOS
This is a critical app if you have a kid and like ice cream! App just flashes open and closes. I have deleted and reinstalled the app and the problem persists. Please fix ASAP!

In short, I downloaded the app and it crashes when I open it. . . I’ve tried re-downloading it multiple times.
To be fair, the app won’t load for me to determine how I feel about the it. . . But any app that keeps me from being more in tune with Sweet Cow’s delicious flavor offering, when it’s supposed to aid in that, is at minimum on the list.

Glitchy
If you click on ice cream details, you can’t go back to see more flavors. I have to constantly close and reopen the app. Now I am trying to add to my favorites and it won’t save anything. Highly frustrating.

Update: deleting and redownloading the app has fixed the issues!
The Sweet Cow iPhone app has a couple of glitches I’ve noticed when I’ve opened it over the past few months. First, the flavors at the Platt Park location don’t match what is on the website. Second, I am unable to favorite a flavor. When I select the heart, it turns red, but the flavor doesn’t appear in my favorites list. When I navigate back to search for and favorite the flavor, the heart is no longer selected. I’d like to be notified when my favorite flavors become available as well as be able to rely on the app for correct flavors. If these issues are resolved, I’d be happy to amend my rating.

App doesn’t work with password managers
The app won’t accept pasted passwords from your clipboard and doesn’t work with existing password managers. Forcing me to use a short hand-entered weak password is a dealbreaker for me.

Flavors are rarely correct and it freezes regularly.

Force-closes one time after installing and then freezes on map screen thereafter...please fix!

App is great when it works
This app used to load reliably and was great to have on hand to find out what flavors were out. However, the longer I’ve had it, the worse it’s become. For example, there is no error handling, so the app will say it’s 100% loaded, but continues to show a loading wheel and never loads. I know so many amazing local developers. Please, please, for love of ice cream, let me send you their info!
