About
Never come back to a $60 street sweeping ticket again.
Swept Chicago does one thing well: it knows where your car is parked and warns you before Chicago's street sweepers or winter tow trucks get there.
PARK. TAP. FORGET.
One tap when you park drops a pin right where your car sits. The app figures out your ward and section, checks the city schedule, and quietly schedules two reminders: one the evening before sweeping, one the morning of. Move your car, keep your $60.
WINTER IS COVERED TOO.
From December 1 to April 1, parking is banned from 3 to 7 AM on about 100 miles of main streets, snow or no snow. A first offense runs $235 or more in tow and ticket fees before storage charges. If you pin your car on one of those streets, Swept Chicago warns you the same evening and again before the tow trucks roll.
FREE TO LOOK UP. PAY ONCE FOR ALERTS.
Every schedule for all 50 wards is free to browse, forever. Alerts, saved locations, and the parked-car pin are a single one-time purchase. No subscription. One avoided ticket pays for the app many times over.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN.
No account. No tracking. No ads. The full city schedule lives on your phone and works offline, and your location never leaves your device. When the city revises dates mid-season, the app quietly picks up the changes.
THE HONEST FINE PRINT.
The city publishes sweeping dates per section, not per side of the street. The posted orange signs on your block always have the final word, and this app tells you that instead of pretending otherwise. Not affiliated with the City of Chicago.
Built in Bucktown by someone who got tired of feeding the city $60 at a time.
