Disappointing
I recently found out that the developer of this app who has been so kind and helpful to the baking community is charging bakers a fee and a monthly subscription to remain listed on the app. If a baker chooses not to pay the monthly fee, they are removed…
I completely understand that developing and maintaining an app cost money and I don’t have an issue with someone wanting to make a profit from their work however, I do feel like this is something that should have been clearly communicated from the beginning especially since the app has been presented as a way to support and connect local bakers.
I really loved what this app seemed to stand for so finding this out was honestly disappointing, also seeing a lot of my favorite stands have already been removed.
