App doesn’t work

Can’t even create a user name. I have an iPhone

Great app but it needs an update..

I like this app a lot, I am 1800 +/- 25 rated player and find it quite entertaining and educative on all Chess Endgames, however it seems to me that in some games and puzzles the build in chess engine stops working and the player is left trying to figure out whether the puzzle is completed or there are more moves that the engine has in mind, in some cases the hint button does not work at all...When this up app is finally updated and iron out those little problems I will gladly give it 5 stars on my next review.

Excellent end game practice

Select from catalogue of end games with piece selection filter 👍

The “play correct moves” button and subsequent staged reveal is very well executed in this app, pedagocically speaking.

These two aspects make it unique from other tactics puzzles apps I’ve tested so far.

Well worth trying

Nice apps, but annoying ads

Simple graphics, but good content.

Ads are killing me. Let me pay for an ad-free version!

ripped off

An eh program. I paid to get rid of the ads and they are still there.

Cool app -- but needs an ad-free version

Strangely, the "Lite" version of this app is ad-free but expires after 48 hours. Which means the non-lite version costs nothing but bombards you with ads -- including ads that interrupt your endgame challenge while you're still trying to solve it. (For instance, if your endgame requires 6 moves you may get an ad after 2.). I've suggested making the regular version the Lite version and offering a regular, ad-free version for a couple of bucks, but I have no idea whether the maker will listen to reason. Anyway, if you want to work on your endgame skills this is a fun way to do it ... assuming you can stand having ads interrupt your train of thought.

This is my favourite app

Love it

Constant Crashing

Cant open the app on iOS 10.2. Please fix!

Response from developer

Hi bobbynight, We believe this is now fixed. Can you try the latest update and re-review? Many thanks, SwiftChess

Surprisingly good.

A must for improving your game. Nice chess app. Highly recommended.

Good app for chess improvers

I coach juniors and adults. I'm recommending this new app to 3 of my pupils. The app is challenging and instructive, yet fun. It will be developed further, I believe.
It makes you think precisely. Too many talented juniors simply improve to the point where they beat their friends - using this app for 15 minutes most days will get them to higher standards (or, they will lose to friends who practice v the app).
Give it a try!

Brilliant!!

Bought this app a few days ago and have become hooked on checkmate challenge! I love how it starts really easy for any beginner but builds to some REALLY hard puzzles if you progress! Great app.
