Serious about checkers? Scroll past this one.
(1) On my very first game as I employed an Old Faithful 25-22 opening, my finger slipped on the trackpad and the game allowed me to place a checker on the light space between 22 and 23. This intrigued me so I intentionally tried to do this on other areas of the board and was able to place a checker on the space between 11 and 12.
(2) There are no options to change the horrible red and black color of the checkers.
(3) In some situations it will not force a jump.
(4) But, by far the BIGGEST FLAW of this app is the laughably sad AI. The computer opponent opens with 9-13 every time and the AI's decisions just get worse from there. The computer opponent is more A than AI and can be beaten by anyone with more than two braincells to rub together for a spark of intelligence.
If you want a good game of checkers or are looking for something that will enhance your ability, leave this one for the parents who need something to keep their toddlers busy while at a doctor's appointment.
