This app doesn’t work

I love this application when I put it onto my computer, but now over the past couple of months, the application does not work. I hope they’re able to figure out what bugs need to be fixed. As this, my iPhone, is the platform I use the most to read books and articles.

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback. The app has been working for most users and I'm always updating it, but I'd love to hear more about exactly what isn't working for you. Please reach out to me at help@swiftread.com with more information and I'll get it resolved for your ASAP. Thank you. Troy, Developer of SwiftRead

The Best Speed Reading App

The best speed reading app I’ve tried. I primarily use the browser extension for spreading websites and articles online. The developer is friendly, responsive, and actively maintains the app. The app is thoughtfully designed and incredibly useful. I like the keyboard shortcuts and all the options, and I like that the developer has been updating the app and making it cross-platform. I have been a happily paying premium user for the last year and would recommend the app to anyone looking to read digital content faster and more efficiently.

Response from developer

Thank you so much — this genuinely made my day. I'm really glad the browser extension fits how you read online, and hearing that the keyboard shortcuts, options, and the cross-platform work are landing well means a lot, especially from someone who's been with SwiftRead for a year. Thanks for the recommendation and for being part of this. Troy, Developer of SwiftRead

Makes reading so much easier

I am often overwhelmed by screens and Swiftread makes my day feel much more manageable. Highly recommend for anyone in today’s digital world.

Thanks so much for your review! I'm so happy to hear that SwiftRead has helped. Troy, Developer of SwiftRead

Too expensive

Really wanted to like this app because it has a good level of polish and UX. However, the price per month ($10-15) is simply too much to stomach. Other RSVP + TTS apps are much cheaper. I would consider a lifetime option if it was offered and priced appropriately.

Response from developer

Thanks for the kind words about the design and UX — really appreciate that. I understand the pricing concern. Your subscription directly supports a solo developer (me!) building and improving this full-time, and I'm always working to make sure the value is there. If you ever want to chat about it or have questions, feel free to reach out at help@swiftread.com — I personally read and respond to every message. Troy, Developer of SwiftRead

Increased my productivity!

I recently downloaded the mobile app after being a chrome extension user for a while. I’m a fan! I love that I can use this on my phone for now on-the-go reading. If you are a kindle user or enjoy reading lots of articles, this is for you. 👍🏻

Response from developer

So great to hear from a Chrome extension user! On-the-go reading was a huge reason I built the mobile app, so glad it's delivering on that. Thanks for the kind words and for sticking with SwiftRead! Troy, Developer of SwiftRead

Best speed reading app by far!

I use this app constantly to engage my brain reading all sorts of material from blogs to short stories to emails. Since this app's developer first created a speed reading plugin for Chrome I've been an enthusiastic user. The developer is both skilled and responsive and the app reflects his well-earned expertise with many little details that set this app apart from other speed reading apps. I'm excited to see what features get added in the future but even now as-is this app is the primary way I read on my phone now.

Wow — this is an incredible review, thank you. It means a lot coming from someone who's been with SwiftRead since the Chrome extension days. That long-time perspective is exactly what pushes me to keep sweating the details. Excited for what's ahead and grateful to have you along for the ride. Troy, Developer of SwiftRead

Super helpful!

Finding myself using Swiftread over my kindle or Books app as I love that you can switch between speed reading and listening to the book. I like the different speed reading modes and customizability and find Flow works great for me. Appreciate the sleek aesthetic too!

Response from developer

Love hearing that SwiftRead is replacing Kindle and Books for you — and that Flow mode clicked! The ability to switch between speed reading and listening was a big design goal, so really glad that's landing well. Thanks for the kind words about the aesthetic too! Troy, Developer of SwiftRead

Avid user

I’ve been using SwiftRead since 2022 as a web plugin, and I was more than ecstatic when Troy sent out the word that he was developing the mobile app. I have been using it on my iPhone and iPad since it has been available for theme and it has been so helpful for my masters program because I have always been a bit of a slow reader. This app really does help me read more quickly and the text to voice integration is helpful for when I don’t quote catch something.

Excellent Speed-Reading App for Busy Learners

SwiftRead is one of the most impressive speed-reading apps I’ve used. The interface is clean, modern, and very intuitive, so it’s easy to start using right away without a learning curve. I especially like how customizable the reading speed is—you can start slow and gradually increase, which really helps build skill and confidence.

The app works beautifully with articles, web pages, and PDFs. It highlights text clearly, reduces distractions, and helps me stay focused on the content rather than getting lost scrolling. I’ve noticed a real improvement in how fast I can read while still understanding the key ideas, which is incredibly valuable for work and lifelong learning.

SwiftRead is perfect for professionals, students, and anyone who wants to consume more information in less time. It turns reading into an efficient and enjoyable experience.
