Great Purchase
I am a weekend golfer but I always want to improve. The Swingbyte has been such a great supplement to my lessons and game. I rarely ever write a review for anything but this has been such a great investment in my golf game. Even though I only play a few times a month.
Swingbyte doesn’t seem to have a way to retrieve your password
Need better support
Very useful training aid
I have been using my Swingbyte to correct swing flaws, particularly coming over the top. Easy to use and instant feedback for your swings; I like the ability to switch views. I had a minor issue - could not sync my iPad to the Swingbyte. Sent a note to Swingbyte support and they promptly replied with guidance on how to easily fix the issue. They stand by their product! Highly recommended for all levels of golfers.

video rarely actually records. targeting feature only works on iPad version of the software

Virtual Coach great
I don't normally write reviews. But decided this feature was worth it. Virtual coach has been spot on with my swing faults. The recommend drills have been absolutely great. Time will tell whether or not the service will stay in tune as my swing improves. But initial experience has been GREAT....
Swing byte right !!
I have been using this product for several years it has helped me tremendously I could not be without it absolutely worth the money one criticism: MAJOR MISTAKE USING STRAP ON ON SWINGBYTE 1 Swingbyte 2 much better way to attach device. So I'm stuck with first model
App keeps shutting down
I spent my whole round trying to get this app to work to no avail. Still at home and not working. Would be nice for an update patch to get this working without any work arounds. Aaaahhhh!!!
Virtual Coach is Awesome
I have been a long time Swingbyte user and have struggled sometimes figuring out what to do with all of the data. The new Virtual Coach takes all of this data and does something great with it - tells you what you are doing wrong. Not only that - it gives you drills to fix your fault and then watches you practice and tells you when you are improving. I look forward to where this technology is going as it is applied to putting and the short game. Great job Swingbyte.

Love using this device. Provides truly helpful visual images and data for analyzing and improving your swing. Love the UI too.
New Virtual Coach features are a complete game changer. Swingbyte can now tell me the parts of my swing that need work and give me lessons and drills! Think I'll be practicing a lot more this winter with Virtual Coach! If this is just the beta, can't wait to see what's next...

$150 paper weight
It worked until the latest update. Now the program freezes on the opening screen. PLEASE FIX IT!

Very poor construction
I'm on my third one. The clip that hold the device on the club easily breaks. The soft ware crashes often. The customer support was good but who wants to keep sending it back for another repair. When it works the data is good and accurate. Will never buy another that attaches to the club shaft.m
Useless information...worse customer service.
Don't waste your money. There are issues with the bluetooth sync, unreliable data, and poor customer service.
Better and Better
The app gets better with every update. When I updated the app it seemed to take a few minutes to download my swing history (while that was happening it ran a little slow) but once that happened everything worked great. If it’s glitchy/slow right after updating… just give it a few minutes!
Very good product
I love all of it. Especially the ability to record video.
Works well with iPad and iPhone
A lot of help in grooving your swing, without getting boogied down with swing mechanics.
Avoid product
Went to driving range. Less than 300 balls hit both straps are broken. Read their forum and see complaints about straps. Total waste of my money. Returning but they do not honor my purchase. filed complaint with BBB product two weeks old
Unfavorable, unreliable performance
The newest app performs very poorly. As an original user this latest update Is unstable, unreliable in recording and displaying and frequently shuts down for no apparent reason. Have tried both iPhone and iPad apps- both perform equally bad.
