Pickleball play
I am enjoying this app to gain insights in my game, skills, and needs for improvements. It has shown me what to work on and the good aspects of my game! I did not realize I am not keeping my paddle up until I watched myself, things to work on are critical to level up..the stats are so helpful as well. The app is easy to use and video quality is great! Nice app!

Honestly, the idea is Awsome and I also adore the look and simplicity, but the payment… I just downloaded it and yet it says that I have played for more than 8hrs and I need to pay. WTH!

Buggy Experience on Apple Watch
Keeps switching to Swingvision even after closing application. Rendered watch unusable until uninstall.
Sessions that don’t end
I’ve been using the SwingVision app for over two years. The features available in the free version have decreased over that time, but what really bothers me is the sessions that keep going after I’ve ended them. I have a session going on 600+ hours - I can’t see any of my stats from that hit (which was actually probably two hours long), and I can’t delete it because I use the free version and only paid users can access sessions more than a week old. I use my Apple Watch to begin, record, and end my sessions. I had a hitting session this morning, which I finalized on my watch. The watch app told me “nice hit” and showed my fitness stats from the session. Hours later, I opened the app on my iPhone to see the stats from this morning’s hit - it was labeled as still live… 6.5 hours and counting. There’s no way to end it because it’s already been ended on my watch; the only thing I can do is delete it, which I need to do before a week passes because then my ability to do that passes, and I’ll have another “session” entering hundreds of hours.

Pretty cool product. I love the line calling feature although I prefer the bad vision of the opponent. Cool that you can share the recordings. We will be trying this with multiple SwingSticks as soon as my opponent gets his delivered.

Padel
It’s a good app, but it needs to be more Padel specific considering how popular PADEL is!

Unreliable Recording + Poor Support Follow-Up
Great concept, but extremely frustrating in practice.
I pay ~$150/year and have had multiple matches fail to record properly. One session stopped recording after only 2 games while my Apple Watch kept tracking score, meaning the app clearly continued partially running — but the video and analytics were gone. Later sessions stopped recording multiple times during a match, and another failed to detect court lines entirely.
I followed all troubleshooting steps, enabled Focus Mode, had no calls or Bluetooth interruptions, submitted diagnostic logs, and provided device details (iPhone 17 Pro + Apple Watch Ultra 2). Support initially responded, then largely stopped following up despite ongoing issues.
When it works, it’s fantastic. But for a premium-priced app, reliability matters — especially when you can’t replay a missed match.
At this point, I do not recommend the app and will not be renewing my subscription unless reliability and support improve significantly.

Love my personal stats!
So great to be able to watch myself and track my stats for each match. Super helpful for trying to improve specific areas that I’ve been practicing, and also evaluating how my match stats compared to my preset match objectives.
Great product with a bit more polish
It’s rare you get a moment of joy when using a product for the first time. Seeing the highlights of a game between friends and all the data really was impressive. Here are a few recommendations I’d make as an iOS Software Engineer:
- Add a camera toggle button to the Watch app
- Default camera setting (based on the preference set using the feature before)
- Make data syncing more obvious, it was a bit unclear in the app
- Foot fault detection on serve: my friend foot-faulted on almost every serve, so it would be great to be told when this is happening.

Good with flaws
It is far less accurate than it claims, which is a problem when auto scoring. Letting it auto score a match never ever works. It can also say my serves go over 120mph, lol.
Uploading STILL takes forever, and most of the time it takes restarting the app a few times to begin at all. I normally need to wait ~12 hours before a recording is fully uploaded.
And it will destroy your battery life so go in at 100% if your phone is to live more than an hour or two.
IMO pushing more expensive tiers (aggressively advertised) instead of improving the core functionality is the opposite of you should be doing.

Some great potential but lacking in many features
Removing the audio based auto setup help feature was a huge mistake as the swing stick never gets set perfectly and now a second device is required to make sure alignment is good.
The desktop version has fewer features but reviewing it on a larger screen is much easier.
It’s surprising that for AI scoring I have to go in and mark every player for basically every point that’s played.

Misleading Ad
Supposed to be new subscriber and get entitled to discounted rate. However I was charged the full amount, which I wasn’t expecting since it clearly mentioned I am a new subscriber.
Wonderful
It works. I loved. Little bit expansive for my pocket. But, it is very good app.
Free tier is unusable
It's ridiculous that I cannot access videos older than 7 days without pro even though the video is saved on my device...
Glitches
This app is only useful to edit parts of videos, the other feedback is not useful whatsoever and when you ask it for example to show “only forehands” it doesn’t even show you only forehands. I played a 2 hour match and I inputted it into the app and it thinks I played against a ball machine for two hours. There are also thousands of glitches that happen when you try to export a video and it doesn’t work until the 200th time. This app feels like it was made in 1985.

Great app overall — very impressed with the features and accuracy.
One suggestion: it would be great to have more customization options for line calling audio. For example, the ability to disable the beep and keep only the voice call (e.g., “out”), as well as additional voice options.
