Controls are Unresponsive

I really like this developer and this game and I don’t want to spoil its perfect rating, so I gave it 5 stars, but the unresponsive swipe controls are a serious problem.
About every third swipe is unrecognized by the game. I make sure that I’m swiping clearly and deliberately, I’ll even swipe several times in a given direction, but the game doesn’t recognize the swipes.
I’m playing on a 2023 iPhone running iOS 17.6.1.
I hate to say it but this issue makes the game unplayable for me.
It looks like development on this game was abandoned years ago, but I thought I’d mention this issue anyway because I’d really like to play this game if it worked properly.

Apple needs put this game up there with the best.

I wish Apple were more fair and put it somewhere where more people can see it. This game is fun have great music and is not repetitive like 99.9% of apps in the store, yes there’s many apps where the goal is the same, to go as far as possible but thats where the similitud ends and Ads are not intrusive.
I’m sure most people would love this game, this game is so good it makes me laugh every time I lost lol. seriously the person/s behind this game are geniuses.
