Great App
Not good

All of your data lives on your Apple Watch, data syncing was designed for the original Apple Watch. It still works well, but it is a relic that needs to improve, the next version will move your data to iCloud, it’s coming. For now, to see your stats on iPhone, a simple tip is to make sure Swish on your Apple Watch and iPhone are both open and ready at the same time. Tap ••• on iPhone to Download Stats. If you still see example data, that means the data has not been sent from your Apple Watch. Your data is still on your Apple Watch, just need to get it to iPhone. Cheers!
Please update for iOS 14 support
Update: upon further testing it seems that it isn’t an issue with AR but rather an issue with saving the workout and them transferring to my phone properly. When I open the app on my phone (XS Max) and watch sometimes the workouts just simply don’t show up.
Update2: updated to 3 stars due to quick dev feedback. Looking forward to future updates.

Hello, thank you for using Swish. AR certainly works on iOS 14. Apple Watch sends sessions to your iPhone relatively slowly and may reload them occasionally. Usually 10-20 seconds at most, make sure to tap the little download button on iPhone and keep Swish on Apple Watch open. Working on a new update to sync them faster. Your workouts are safe on your Apple Watch. Sorry for the delay in response, it takes about a day for Apple to process reviews. Send an email to swishcounter@icloud.com for quicker feedback. Let me know if there is anything more you’d like, a major update is coming soon!
Good app, responsive developer
Bought this a week ago for free throw practice (Just started practicing shooting hoops at the gym for some variety). I’ve only used the basketball section, which is very well thought out / just right for my needs. Excited to use this when working on my tennis serve soon...
Developer is very responsive to feature requests. Looking forward to updates and future efforts.
(Also, huge kudos for not seeking subscription pricing.)

Export to CSV is finished. Thanks for your suggestion! The data is currently stored on Apple Watch only, this was a design decision I made awhile ago in preparation to store data in iCloud for safekeeping, which will be released in a future update. In the meantime, data is safe on Apple Watch even if it doesn’t load on iPhone immediately. There is a refresh button on iPhone to resync data to iPhone. Patrick
Solid, but still AR troubles
Response from developer
Update: Solved! Thanks to Taylor for pointing out an issue with AR privacy settings, the next update will give appropriate instructions if anyone comes across this issue in the future. For anyone having issues with AR in Swish or any other AR app go to the Settings app > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > enable Compass Calibration. AR shows your shots on a real basketball court with the camera, I’ll put some videos together for my next release to highlight it, it’s pretty cool. I included manual mode because people like to customize their workouts but I think automatic modes are much more fun, try rotating the Digital Crown during your workout to see all the automatic modes.
Best app ever!!
Edit: I love the new stats and still love the app. The only suggestion I have is to have a goalie option. A lacrosse or soccer goalie would benefit from seeing where they need to work on their saves

Update: Swish can now send stats to your iPhone and it’s awesome, I hope you enjoy the update! I created Swish to help me get better at basketball and I'm happy to hear it helps you too. Thanks for your review! Patrick
Great app but ...

Update: I made huge performance gains when the Apple Watch sends your shots and sessions to your iPhone. Open Swish on your iPhone and open Swish on your Apple Watch. It’s nearly instantaneous now. I hope you enjoy it, I am loving it. Thanks for pointing out an issue that caused me to look deeper. Enjoy! Patrick
Great App

Update: I created 3D courts and spots to view your shots. You can take a screenshot of a single session or multiple sessions, or even a screen recording in AR. You can then use the built in Markup tools in the Photos or Notes app to draw on the photo. I hope you enjoy this update. Let me know if you still want a PDF. Working on some cool improvements, stay tuned! Thanks, Patrick
Works well except heart rate and health integration
Update: Dear Patrick, thanks for getting back to me. I checked and the heart rate and workout settings are enable in the health app privacy settings. I tried all sorts of different ways to get the app to transfer date to the health app but it does not work. I really like your app and I hope you can resolve these issues in future updates.
Response from developer
On your iPhone, check to make sure that Heart Rate and Workouts are enabled in the Settings app > tap Privacy > tap Health > tap Swish. Let me know if that was the issue. Swish does not currently implement Health integration to its fullest potential. I am hard at work on version 1.7 which adds stats to the iPhone app. Expect much improved health support in the next one or two updates.
Simple and nice on watch
Response from developer
Thank you for a great review. The features you mentioned are the core of what I first envisioned years ago. I work hard on adding cool new features all the time, but those core features are what it’s all about! Fun fact, there was a feature on an earlier version of watchOS that allowed the display to remain on, it felt like I was one with my Apple Watch while shooting hoops, I loved it! Apple has since removed that feature, probably for battery performance reasons, hopefully something like that will return to watchOS some day.
Great app

Update: Stats on iPhone is really cool! See it in 3D, Augmented Reality, and even see all your sessions at once! Patrick
Widget for watch face
Response from developer
I'm humbled you want to put Swish on your watch face. Swish has a Complication for the Apple Watch. Go to the Watch app on your iPhone > tap Complications > be sure to include Swish as one of your Complications > go to your Apple Watch and find the Swish Complication on your watch face. Also, you can use Siri as another way to launch Swish without having to find the app on your Apple Watch. Raise your Apple Watch and say something like "Hey Siri, start a basketball workout in Swish". Siri must be enabled for Swish for that to work. On your iPhone, go to the Settings app > Siri & Search > scroll down to Swish and enable Use with Siri. Let me know if either of those solutions works for you. Enjoy Swish!
Wow
Love this app

Update: Stats on iPhone is here! Use two fingers to scrub through your session history. Try it in AR too. Thanks for your review! Patrick
Love the update but.....

Update: Great to hear from you, I worked really hard on bowling. To help switching sports try saying “Hey Siri start a basketball workout in Swish” or tap the sports back and forth instead of swiping. Sports are now arranged by how often you play them, with your most recent showing first. Stats on iPhone is pretty sweet, I hope you check it out in Augmented Reality too. There’s still quite a few top secret updates in the works! Thanks for your review! Patrick
Very hard to use
Response from developer
Update: I have improved Swish with your recommendations. Statistics are now available on iPhone. Let me know what kinds of analysis of your sessions you want to see. The instruction manual is more refined, I hope it’s a bit less confusing. My goal is to make Swish easy for everyone to enjoy without instructions. Enjoy the new update! Patrick
Great app
