Nice job… Besides getting rid of the fake TV border and the slider I wish you could influence the parameters of the size of the static and perhaps the tape tape TYPE of static of static… what I would like is for my entire iPad Pro to appear broken ha ha Ha perhaps if you input the wrong password you would get the static screen only

Infant-approved!
I purchased this app while still in the maternity ward, hours after our daughter was born. She calmed down immediately. This was nine years ago, but I am pleased to see the app still getting updates so many years later.

Too simple to be useful
Visualization part is useless. Although noise is good, no ways to customize or tweak it. No native iOS play/pause integration.

Amazingly useful
Really does calm my newborn baby when nothing else will. The app could do with a little extra work but it does what it’s supposed to quickly and easily. Considering it doesn’t use the iOS media controls I was pleased to discover that the Stop Playing option on the timer does in fact stop Shush. Great app, good work Mr Jalkut.

Unresponsive
Slider only responds intermittently to touch. Very annoying, especially when the volume "sticks" in the loud position.
For a paid app, I expect better. Why not simply tie volume to the system volume?

Easily the best designed white noise app on any platform... Wholly recommend this.
life saver
This app works for my baby. Whenever he's a little fussy and we want some sleep, we just swaddle him and turn on this app (quietly) and he calms down almost immediately. After 5-10 minutes, he gets bored and falls asleep.
It's just white noise
This is a brilliant app. Generates white noise and does nothing else. This app has been used to help my son (now one year old) go to sleep since he was born. When he's stressed and won't sleep this app works. Can't rate it high enough. Just proves that apps don't have to have bells and whistles, they just need to work and work well.

Shush is the smallest app ever
Shush is based purely on fancy math and has none of the bloat that other white noise 'generators' might have. This alone makes it better than all of the other white noise apps combined.

But I wish there were some options to change the frequency or percieved pitch. (Yes before you think me stupid, I am aware what white noise is, random.) But all the same, I think that the noise is way too grating on my ears to be soothing.

Needs a sleep timer
Works like a charm but it would be nice to have a sleep timer function so I don't have to worry about it running all night.
It would also be nice to have an option that slowly varies the volume higher and lower (within a threshold) to sort of mimic an ocean sound
