The Best Game Till It’s Not
But I’m ready to uninstall which is disappointing. Somehow the game just downgraded, boards were almost impossible to pass, every one was a slog. Then, somehow the frogs got WAY stupid and would help you lose levels vs winning them. THEN, they took out the events (where you earn different power ups and coins), which made the boards even MORE difficult to pass. And I’m not quitting on say, board 100-something, I’m currently on level 2790 (!) and I think I’ll just quit. I use to play certain boards 20 times before I passed and still be happy to play. But without the events to build up power ups without spending real money, it’s not fun anymore or challenging, just feels broken.
I think I ran out of levels
If it’s a glitch I hope it gets patched soon, if not and i’m just cracked I hope the devs consider making new levels 🙏
Amazing
Totally recommend this game for anyone!!!
AMAZING
(Bug report)
Also, there’s a missing music trigger at the start of Chapter 19, Task 5 (I think), titled “Go to the lake”. The title screen music just continues to play over the story.
Oh and, since this is technically also a review, uh, I absolutely love the game. The writing has no reason to be this good, and the gameplay is just fun. (But never spend your coins on Continues, folks, it’s never worth it!)
Response from developer
Hi there, It’s always nice to have honest reviews from players. I'm sorry to hear that your game is taking a longer time to load. I'd love to help you sort it out, so if you can give me a few more details via the contact forms on either the in-game support page, or at support.wooga.com, so we can start investigating the loading issue right away. Also, please report the music issue as well. Apologies again, Wooga Support Team
😢
I really like this game but..

Hi there, Oh no! Losing your progress sounds very annoying. Fortunately, we can work together to sort out what is happening but we need a few more details. If you can get in touch via the contact form at support.wooga.com, we’ll be able to research the problem nice and quick. Hope to hear from you soon. The Switchcraft team
What the hell is with the frogs and rewards?
1. Why are the frogs so stupid?
Before they were updated, the frogs were actually useful. They would help you with your objective. But now, unless I summon an army of them with the rainbow ball, they do the least helpful thing ever. For example, instead of breaking the gem underneath a key or fox, they just break a box! The box doesn’t matter! Don’t even get me started on their decision making when I fuse them with a line gem or a bomb gem. They go for the place they’d help the least- it’s like they’re doing it on purpose. Please make them like they used to be. Right now they’re virtually useless.
2. Bad reward system
I have to watch ads to be able to beat most levels. I can’t get enough coins, both from level rewards, from Magnus, or ads. The price to buy more lives (900) doesn’t seem like much at first, but when you consider that you get mostly 20 coins from everything, it’s not worth it, and just a waste of money. I remember when Magnus would give you useful power ups all the time, and the ads would too. Now most of what you get is just collection items. The infinite lives are pretty useful, but I can only get them once in a while. Either lower prices significantly or increase rewards- simple.
Now, for the level rewards specifically-
•what’s with the magicka earning for hard and super hard levels? I think that a hard level should give you two magicka, and a super hard should give you three.
•Please make the coin rewards greater. 50 coins for beating a level and increase it by 50 for each difficulty, perhaps? I can’t fathom why super hard levels would only give you 80~ coins.
Please do something about this! The game is much less enjoyable than it used to be.
level 41 KILLS all momentum and desire to keep playing.

Sadly the story came to an end!

Hello, What a marvelous review! We put so much work into making June's Journey the best game possible, so it’s such a boost to all our working days. Thank you for putting a smile on our faces. Happy adventuring! The Switchcraft team
the best game app ive ever had
i got got by a targeted ad for this but i am not mad about it at all! it’s a perfect little game with a great story and world to play it in. the powerups are all great and i love the system of watching the ads on the plant daily to get them. i always hope for an infinity life but if i run out and don’t get one it’s probably time to stop playing for the day. i easily spend at least an hour with Switchcraft every day!
thank you to the devs for making the best game app i’ve ever downloaded :)
Dramatically underrated
Story? Well, maybe it is not the pinnacle of writing in games, but I was still pleasantly surprised. It gets quite interesting; I strongly advise to farm gems before reading, because it might be difficult to stop. Characters gain quite a lot of depth as the plot progresses. Yes, they are sometimes annoying, make stupid decisions, behave in irrational or downright terrible way, but that makes them human. The character and relationship development is for me the best part of the story.
Game is truly free to play and win. There are some daily rewards that can be obtained after watching the ads, but this is limited and apart from this optional feature, the gameplay is not disturbed in any way. Very much appreciated!
Overall - as the title says. This game should be somewhere on the top of puzzle games’ rankings and I fail to understand why it is not the case.
Ah, this is important! Naomi is cute. The game needs more Naomi and her summer dress!
Great game
The one that survived.
Wonderful game
Difficult Levels
Good up to a point, but then…
Sadly, things take a turn for the worst around level 47, when it becomes increasingly clear that in order to proceed through the puzzle levels pure skill or luck just ain’t enough. You need to spend oodles of hard cash, and all the time and effort you’ve invested in this game up until now has just been a lead-on to that.
Not me, hombre. As soon as the scam was revealed I quickly uninstalled the game, with the £4.49 they wanted for a ‘beginners pack’ of 2000 going destined for Christmas presents instead. Shame, because I’d like to know what’ll happen next… but you ain’t pumping me for quarters at such a difficult cost-of-living crisis. Nice try, though now 😜
