Timer shuts off
I used this for a year and it worked fine, but recently the timer shuts itself off periodically. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled, reset the switch, changed batteries to no avail. Can’t trust it’ll work anymore.
Super buggy
I've only had the app & smart outlet for a couple days, the app isn't very responsive and the wifi connectivity is basically nonexistent. I wish it would pop up networks to use rather than type in the network and password, I had to go back to just a regular outlet

I’ve been using the Switchmate app for years and it has been great! The switches and plugs have both worked great as well as the schedules. (I’ve never used the “come home” feature or voice control.)
Recently I couldn’t change the name of one of the plugs. So I ended up deleting the app and reinstalling it. I was able to add the plug back with the correct appliance names without issue. Hopefully the rest of the plugs and switches will add back as easily.

Never downloaded this app!!!!????
Why is this app in my phones history of downloaded apps!?!? I’ve never downloaded it before and neither has my husband or son on our family sharing account!!! Where do apps like these come from and how are they showing up as having been previously downloaded before when they never were by us!?!?
good but
app and device works as intended. sometimes a little glitchy but I’m sure a software update would suffice. I do hope they would allow the app to work with Siri Shortcuts in the future, like most other smart home apps.

Worked fine for a few weeks and then no longer connects.
Unable To Stay Connected
I have used this for over 6 years and just recently in the past month it has stopped working. I have to disconnect and connect it and it will work for maybe a day or two and it suddenly stops connecting. Fix this issue please.

The app will turn the switch on and off ONCE before it says it can’t detect the device. Have to close the app and restart it to get it to work again

this app and the devices were great for a while. however, it has stopped working. we can no longer add switches or plugs, so the ones we have are currently useless. too bad because we installed so many, and it seems like a waste of that investment.

One day it stopped working. I’ve been able to get it to work randomly on occasion, but it doesn’t stay fixed and it is making me nuts.

If you force close the app it will not reopen. You have to delete and reinstall the app and reconnect all switch devices.
Please fix! This is the only one I found for an easy solution to the non flat rocker style switches I have.

After iOS 17, no longer works.
Deleted switch and tried to re-add. App cannot detect it any more. Deleted app and reinstalled. Batteries fine, works manually so I assume something in the app is incompatible with iOS 17.

Stop releasing untested app updates
The Switchmate was working fine after an app update last year to fix dark mode being unusable. Things were working fine until of late that the switch does not keep settings saved. Have to mail Lu turn off the front porch lights that this is controlling because it keeps resetting and turning off the scheduled timers.

Couldn't even get the power plug to install.
Have used other plugs before. This one is crappy. Couldn't even get it to install.

It stopped working after the update
Terrible app, it crashes if you want to save any changes in the settings after the last update; pretty much useless
