My favorite other tube app so far!
It truly doesn’t play ads or sponsor segments! It is a little buggy sometimes. I’ve seen the menu tab bar get stuck covering the whole bottom half of the screen. And sometimes it doesn’t load more videos so I have to restart the app. (I don’t want to clear the cache bc that’ll log me out)
My wishlist:
- option to toggle on the shorts on the YT home page because I do love to see my cat shorts!
- ability to add to a queue and play next option

Thanks! Ensure you're on the latest iOS version. Also clearing cache sometimes is neccessary, a login doesn't take long.

When adding a video to playlists menu options block second playlist. Started as a five star but with previous and this old, going to a three for me
Last review: When I am watching content and get a call, whether I go into call menu or exit app and then call then it plays loud over call. Kind of annoying. I need to force quit the app before taking the call. Would bring it down to a two but want this app to succeed

Cannot Clear Cache [ FIXED ]
[ The fix for the below problem is that you have to click the "more apps" button. The developer did not elaborate on this directly, but I figured something must be up when I saw their response and I *also* did not see an "info" or "i" button. Now that I can clear the cache, it's a lot easier to deal with the hiccups. I assumed the "more apps" button would just take me to, y'know...their other apps (perhaps on their developer page). This could be explained better, but now it's at least much more usable (although you still have to sign in to everything again after clearing the cache...that's quicker than a full delete-reinstall cycle). ]

The gear icon won't show up for me, so I can't clear the cache to fix a few issues I'm having intermittently (unresponsive fullscreen button, audio-only playing by default instead of PiP, some incorrect resume places within a video). I'm not sure how to overcome this without a full deletion and reinstall every time (since an offload would not clear the cache), which means I have to log in to all accounts again if I want access to them every single time something goes wrong. I hope this can be fixed in future versions, because it otherwise works as advertised...

Does as advertised well
I just use it for YouTube and it has some bugs that come with the web version but definitely worth it. 🇨🇭

I was very pleased when I heard about this app, it really works no more adds , it also works on other platforms too! It so easily, you pay a donation amount and then you can watch without having to seat through lots of advertising, it still shows you the little lines where the advertising should been but you and I can watch their videos without any annoying advertisements.
It’s dead simple to use. I haven’t found anything negative about this app, it’s all good !! Try it your never use YouTube again 😂😂

Works perfectly… most of the time
everything in youtube atleast works as described but occasionally it will go through intense bouts of buffering with full bars, this usually only lasts for a little while but can get frustrating at times

Making something that was free payed after years of free use?
Why would you do that? Everyone else introduce a paid feature that’s something extra, not just make the free version cost money after an “update” just going to switch to one of the free ones now

Please check your iCloud settings, the buy status is saved in iCloud.

Also why is there a hd air play option that doesn’t work when you press the 3 lines on the top bar on YouTube?

Je mets 5 étoiles car c’est la seule appli vraiment fonctionnelle sur l’appstore et que je l’utilise depuis longtemps.
Cependant je souhaite remonter 2 problèmes au développeur.
*Je l’utilise exclusivement sur iPad.*
1 - depuis quelques temps lorsque je lance une vidéo après quelques secondes la vidéo se redémarre, si j’ai mis lance vidéo en plein écran avant que ça relance, j’ai un bug qui m’empêche de remettre la vidéo vidéo en plein écran.
Il faut donc attendre le redémarrage de la vidéo à chaque lancement de vidéo.
2- J’ai téléchargé l’app pour Apple TV, mais je ne parviens pas à accéder au playlists et vidéos enregistrées. iCloud Drive est bien activé sur tous mes appareils pour cette appli.
Si possible d’avoir de l’aide ou une documentation à suivre pour ce point là ce serait top.

Merci beaucoup! I can't reproduce your issue on my iPad with auto full screen video enabled. Which iPad and iOS version is this? Try reinstalling the app. For Apple TV: The videos must be added to the favorites or watchlist of the app itself, not of the YouTube account.

Pretty darn good
I got really sick and tired of ads on YouTube because for some reason they keep getting worse on there. So ,I decided to look for an app that runs YouTube smoothly (basically no ads) and someone on reddit recommended SwizzTube. Downloaded it, explored it, and all of a sudden, I'm on SwizzTube more than actual YouTube 😭
Also like how the app is easy and straightforward to navigate/use
