Dice Rolling
After death, it is really easy to roll the dice more than 10. Dice is weirdly slow. All you have to do is tap on it when you see a bigger number. So, it kills the soul of swords and sandals. Because death was absolute and a resurrection was not possible.
Perfect nostalgia
Grew up constantly chasing a flash website to play the original on. What a delight it was to replay, and beat the game I was never able to as a young child. Yes, the black screen glitch exists for the paid Classic addition and yeah, that is not cool. Would love to replay the old Classic. Even still, 5 stars for being a joy to play.

I really hope they fix this bug. I just spent $10 on this game for the maximus gear and all that and every time I go into Black Smith or Armory and I leave it sent me to a black screen. They really need to fix this cause I’m bout to get my money back and delete the game and tell all my buddies to delete the game. I really hope y’all fix this.

Only trial, after arena boss 3 the game stops and your character gets deleted. Must buy full version despite constant ads.

Wonderful But Still Buggy
I’ve always loved the swords and sandals franchise the 1st and 2nd being very nostalgic. I bought the ultratus edition so I could have access to everything and especially getting the classic shop keepers back. The problem is when I put on the classic shop keepers when I exit a shop I’m stuck in a black screen forever. Looking at the reviews I see some of these bugs have been here for like a decade, I’m not expecting the game to get fixed off this complaint but I sure do wish it worked. 😞the game is still great with the redux graphics but it just doesn’t feel the same

Constant crashes
Why does it not allow me to enter any of the shops without it having to be a constant black screen or crash. Really half to have a half working game
I know it’s a good game but
Sure all Swords and Sandals games are good and I’m sure this one is too but I just can’t find out. I went to the blacksmith and grabbed the Maximus armor and when I left the shop I got stuck in a black screen and couldn’t play the game. This also happened when I visited the magic shop. I don’t truly know what’s going on for me but I hope that it doesn’t happen for anyone else and that they can enjoy this old classic beauty of a game.

Best nostalgic game
One of the best nostalgic game which I used to play in online back in the 2010s. Now good to play in mobile too. Everyone should try this atleast once!

dont buy the maximus version you will end up with a black screen after trying to do something like battling or going to the shop, and i had to refund my 5$. if you want to play through the whole game i recomment paying for the swords and sandals 5 maximus version bcs you will be able to play through the whole game and its cheaper

Unplayable
Love the game, long time fan of the flash versions on most flash game sites. My main issue is every time I leave the armory, the weapons dealer, or the potions place the screen blacks out and I can’t do anything. Is there a fix ?
