This is a good game, but..
I played this on a console way before I got it in mobile. Amazing game, it was one of me favorites. The game cost like 10 bucks. Why would they think you would play a 5 bucks/month subscription for it? Play it on a switch or something. It’s way cheaper. Please, switch to adds instead of subscription!

A case study of the death of mobile games
I fondly remember the young, passionate me playing this game endlessly, and against my dad. I firmly believe this game has nurtured my taste in games. Now, every hit of dopamine and nostalgia is separated by paywalls asking me to subscribe to the “Netflix of mobile gaming”. What a tradjety that such a labor of love has become what it is. Nice that, even in such a state, is it avaliable in the store though.

früher habe ich swords and soldiers oft gespielt. habe das spiel erneut nach langer zeit installiert, um festzustellen, dass man ein abo abschliessen muss um spielen zu können. das mache ich auf keinen fall. dann sollen sie es einfach nicht gratis anbieten!

If it’s a good game, you should be willing to pay for it. The game wasn’t free to make, is not free to maintain. Using ads is one approach to funding, but for many people it’s ads that ruin games by getting in the way of the experience.
GameClub keeps the focus on the gameplay, not advertising opportunities.
As someone who has been gaming on this platform since the start, GameClub is an incredible deal. So many great games would have disappeared forever if it hadn’t been for their preservation efforts. And that’s something I’m willing to pay for. Obviously that’s not for everyone, but to come here and 1 star a game that would no longer be available or supported otherwise is beyond childish.

Used to love this game when I was younger and played all the time I managed to find the game again recently (after 2hrs of searching) just to find that I have to pay a £5 monthly subscription so I can have access to other games I don’t want ?? £5 a month for a game ? Please create an option to pay for the game outright this is so upsetting

I don’t care to have many games on my phone, so access to unlimited games doesn’t make sense to me.
As a result, having a subscription to just this game would cost as much as a $60 dollar game on a console over the course of a year AND you have to keep paying every month so it gets more and more expensive.
Maybe if I played 10-20 different game pass games it could make sense but that would be a huge waste of time anyways :). I just want a good game to play while on an airplane.

Я купил эту игру много лет назад. Играли в неё парами. Но после обновления мультиплеер стал доступен только при месячной платной подписке. По сути, у меня украли половину игры, за которую я когда-то заплатил полную стоимость.

You made such an amazing game horrible. I don‘t want to pay to play the full version I would like to play the game for free.It used to be free but now it all costs money which sucks and unless this gets changed I‘m not playing.
