I honestly CANNOT stand sycamore. My daughter has been going to a private school that uses this website/link. I also work for the school and though parents complain about sycamore, I tell them to please be patient because even myself both as staff and parent is still trying to figure things out using it. I have been patient enough the past 3 1/2 yrs but with their new update it has become even WORST… I normally liked to use their app in order for me to look at the school calendar, my daughter’s grades, information her teacher would put, attendance, etc. I was still very limited on what I can do via the app compared to the website, but I was trying my best to be patient. Now, that I had to reset a new password to my account for the new school year that my daughter will be with the school, I’ve lost it with this company. Their app is the worst. Trying to login takes decades to load and now it will not even let me login to use the app. I just really wish the school would invest a bit more and use a better company to use as a platform as to communicate with parents, input student’s grades, attendance, etc. I know per reading the reviews others have left for this app, it looks as if this company does not care about the negative reviews people leave and try to fix it. Since my daughter will be with this school for this coming school year, I guess I will deal with it, but I’m just praying the school changes the company and uses a better company with much better and most definitely updated content.

I can’t get beyond the login screen. Endless loading message and then times out. What good is an app that can’t be accessed?
Helpful but missing some features
It’s nice to be able to see grades, assignments and missing assignments with an app rather than logging in to website. It would be nice if it had notifications. I’d love to get a notification when grade is entered and when it’s noted that student has a missing assignment.

Worst app a school could use
This is absolutely the worst app a school could possibly choose. If they’re still using it, it has to be because they simply haven’t looked into other options. Has no options other than to pass a note but you never know when you get a note back because there is simply no notification option to select. Doesn’t show dates grades were submitted, cannot see anything that you need to know about the school or classes, even the pass-a-note function hasn’t been functioning half the time lately. SCHOOLS PLEASE FIND BETTER!!!

No features/functionality
In theory this would be a great app. However the includes features are essentially what you would have expected from something 15+ years ago. No ability to view pdf attachments, make menu selections or pay accounts.
Poor Function!
Teachers and parents can not order lunch on the app. They can only view it. Also, the app does bot provide the users to view “notes” left on the grades, which means why the student received a certain grade. We are not impressed

EVERY SINGLE DAY I GO ON THIS APP SO I CAN SEE MY GRADES AND THEY ARE SO GOOD!!! EVERYONE SHOULD USE SYCAMORE. WHO EVER SAID IT IS BAD YOUR A LOSER!!!!! I’m 11 years old and I’m so happy with this app! keep it UPP!
Terrible app!
From the teacher standpoint, this was a terrible app. I either couldn’t do the things I need to do, or it was just too clunky to figure it out. Very disappointed in the quality of the app.

Poor Functionality with the App, and the Sycamore website is not mobile friendly
I would love to “like” this app, but it is missing much of the functionality of the Sycamore website. It would be nice to be able to add cafeteria meal choices, to have access to the directory, and to pay accounts from the Sycamore App; however, you have to go the Sycamore website (full-site), which also isn’t very mobile friendly?

Very frustrating!
The developer should try to understand that all parents don’t have the technical experience that he/ she have. Therefore using this application or the web is not the most easiest thing to use.
Needs to be updated
There are features on the website not available through the app. For example, I have to get onto a computer to sign up for parent teacher conferences. The app overall is not user friendly. I can never find what I need without clicking EVERYTHING.
Only works on safari
This app dosent work on device as an app I have to go to safari every time to check my grades and I’m to lazy for that 👎👎👎👎
