About

Know what leaves next across Sydney Trains, Metro, light rail and ferries. Sydline puts the published timetable on your device, so departures, trip planning, fares and the network map stay fast even without a connection. - View departure boards for 266 stops, with lines, destinations and platforms. - Add Sydney's bus timetable as an optional download when you want it. - Save everyday trips and see the next 24 hours, with a countdown to every train and the quickest marked. - Bookmark the trains you catch, look back at the ones that left earlier today, and share a journey as plain text. - Check adult Opal fare estimates, transfer discounts, caps and airport fees. - Explore the full geographic network map in official line colours. - See trackwork alerts and live train positions when the source provides them. - Plan Sydney Airport rail trips and check nearby road incidents. - Ask plain-English questions. Apple Intelligence or the built-in parser reads the question; every answer comes from the timetable. - Use Siri, Shortcuts, widgets, Live Activities and the companion Apple Watch app. Sydline covers Sydney Trains, Sydney Metro, Sydney light rail and Sydney Ferries, with Sydney buses available as a separate in-app download. It excludes NSW TrainLink intercity and regional services. Timetable data is supplied by Transport for NSW. Sydline is not affiliated with or endorsed by Transport for NSW.

What's New in Sydline

1.4.0

September 27, 2026

Trip boards count down, and Ask has a proper screen. - Every train on a trip now leads with how long until it leaves, and the quickest around each time is marked Fastest. - Tap a journey for its own page: the route, the Opal fare, live position, Track this trip and Share. - Bookmark the trains you actually catch. They sit at the top of the trip as My trains, and say so when today's isn't running. - The clock button looks back at trains that already left today. - Ask is rebuilt. The question box sits by your thumb, every train in an answer opens its stops, journeys can be saved or shared, and recent questions are kept. - When a name could mean several stops, such as "North", Ask lists them for you to choose rather than guessing. - Ask no longer waits indefinitely on a slow Apple Intelligence reply, and a new question can be asked at any time. - The keyboard's Go key now sends your question.
