User reviews

Disappointed

Good ideas for hiking in and around the Sydney area but as a non resident the maps provided aren't very helpful. It would be nice to see where the hikes begin and end in relationship to Sydney. App doesn't allow user to pan out to situate the trail to the city and the names on the index mean nothing to me as a tourist. Being able to scroll through the pictures would be helpful too. Opening and closing them one at a time is too tedious.

I can't speak to the actual step by step directions or the transportation options as I haven't used them and probably won't because it's too difficult to figure out which hike I'd like to do. Easier to Google hikes and go from there. Disappointed.

Utterly useless

Usability bad. User interface bad. Content bad. Maps GUI is the worst thing I’ve seen in an app. No way of finding walks based on your current location. Really not a useful app at all

Slow as molasses

Map function is practically unusable as it stutters and hard to navigate around. Very slow too.

Ultimate walking guide

This app is an excellent tour guide assistant. Mapped walks with trailheads close to Sydney’s Opal-pay public transport. Ranked by distance and colour coded for transport type (train, ferry, bus), the guide notes and key photographs ensure that you don’t miss a turn and give you a preview of track conditions. Up to date hazard notes mean you check tide tables or avoid a track that is currently closed.

Pointless

Its just the website packaged into an app. Still requires data to load anything.
