The camera quality is pretty good but the app takes an hour to download one video no matter where you are
No live feed
No live feed from camera. It defeat the purpose of having live feed. So I can set up the cenara to see if it’s too johns or too low. It was working until the last update when they changed the format. I can’t even submit a problem thru the apple app market. The can is good quelite of vid and pics but no live feed!!!
10/2014 Second camera in two years. It works the after a few months they just stop working! Done with this company. Imma get a camera from an actual dash camera company

App needs update or a bug fix won’t connect to camera for viewing media.
Can’t download video to phone with app
Why have a dash cam if I can’t download the videos to my phone? We should all get our money back. This camera is useless if you get into an accident, you can’t even show the officer what happened. Am I supposed to carry my laptop around with my SD card reader?
App is the main concern for guidance and modification settings.
Need to update app to better guide all users for having a Sylvania dash cam. No specific settings on how to operate the dash cam.

Camera works well. The app is junk and downloading videos off it takes forever. Don’t make the same mistake!!
The app is worthless
I’m rating the app itself (the camera would probably be a 3 star) and it’s worthless. The app connects to the camera just fine. From there the problems are numerous. Accessing your files is hit or miss. Sometimes it will state your SD card is 0kb/0kb like it’s not even there. We got into an accident that wasn’t our fault. The other driver claimed his light was green. No problem, we will just pull it up on our app. Nope. Luckily we had our laptop and was able to pull the video that way.
Long story short, just use your computer. The app is a waste of space on your phone.

Great cameras, app is very buggy
I have the Stealth front and rear dash cam. The features of the camera itself are wonderful, impact activated video saving, looped recording and high quality video. Trying to get the videos from the app to your phone is another story…. The integration with the app is spotty, the time the app will time out several times before actually being able to manage your videos. If they could put a team on making the app function better this dash cam would be the best on the market for the price. I love the camera, but the app is a hassle to use, especially after an accident when adrenaline is pumping and you try and get the app to communicate with the camera. Also, the app will not show MPH on KPH which is weird

Horrible app
This app is horrible!! Doesn’t let me download a video!
Live view never loads
Can’t see anything but a blue screen when Wi-Fi is connected and the live view in app never loads. Fix this, and your android app won’t even connect to phones, you guys are terrible.

Great product, App needs work
I have an iPhone XR and to echo the first review there is a sizing issue with the app. The front screen should be minimizable (is that a word?) because you can only see the top of the icon thumbnails to click behind the main viewing screen. Fix it please.
Don’t waste your time.
I’ve now owned two sylvania stealth dashcams and the first one worked good for a week or so and then would no longer output a wifi hotspot so you could connect to it. I thought I would give it another shot just in case I got a bad egg but now the second one has a hotspot signal but the app won’t let me set up the dashcam after a certain point, I can connect to the camera via wifi but the app says I need to enable location services to continue. That should be an easy task but the app settings and the settings on my phone won’t give me the option to enable location services. The camera has a great picture honestly but that doesn’t matter when the only way you can access it (via the app) is complete garbage.

The dash cam seems work great but like all the other reviews I’ve read the app is horrible....I thought maybe I was doing something wrong but it’s obviously the app.

Sizing issues
I like the app. As for right now, it is functional, but that’s about all it is. I’m having the same issue as mentioned by another reviewer. I have an iPhoneXR and there are some sizing issues that make using the app fairly difficult. If a fix can be figured out for this, I know I won’t be the only one to appreciate it.

Can’t see the menu bar
I have an iPhone 12 Pro and i can’t see the screen at all only the top :(
Terrible app
You can’t see the main menu. If you are hoping to use the app to access and control the cameras tough luck. Once the camera comes online the app is virtually useless.
Looking for alternatives
Quality on this dash cam is phenomenal.... but the main thing I was looking for was being able to pull up videos on my phone. I got it to work once, and the one time it did work it was great. Since that time I haven't been able to get any videos to go on the app. Not to mention it might be the worst app I've ever used on my phone. The dash cam is great itself, but in my personal opinion a good dash cam vs a bad one should have seamless integration with an app that's usable.
