Needs work
Light turns on automatically at times without a scene being set. Light turned on at 4am and woke me up. I thought I had an intruder. Never again.
Worked great till it didn’t
When I had first bought these lights they were wonderful. Then I got that dreaded firmware update notification, would not be something to worry about if I could actually install the new firmware. Now after unpairing my bulbs in an attempt to install the new firmware I cannot get them to connect and they are stuck in easy pairing mode, yet it has been anything but easy. Two stars.

Now requires log-in
App worked fine without needing to create an account and log in. Not sure why they changed it, but I am sure it’s not to my advantage. Going to buy new smart plugs instead of creating an account.
Bigger power buttons
On the "all devices" screen, the on/off power toggle button needs to be significantly bigger(double the size). Half the time you accidentally tap the box behind it which brings you to settings for that device. It is incredibly frustrating.

Fails to connect to wifi blinking before it connects
I cant get this pos to connect its also flashing bright and i can get it to stop
Counterintuitive App
I setup up 9 lights in one room in my house. Now I can’t add those lights to a room in the app. What’s the point of having different rooms in the app if you can add devices you’ve already setup. I’ll be looking for different bulbs for my next smart room..
Firmware update “broke” a bulb!
Plugged in, “added” and set up 5 light bulbs. Every one of them worked but claimed “firmware update needed”. At the time I didn’t have the time as app stated “this could take a while. “Make sure your device has battery power blah blah blah……” but the bulbs seemed to work just fine as is. Able change colors and effects no issues, figured, “meh whatever this will do for now”. Finally found the time later on and attempted to “update firmware”—tested it cautiously on one single bulb first to see how long it might take. At what looked to be 90% complete, It stopped and claimed, “connection failed, check the network” and has ever since completely refused to do anything. I “tried again” and tried and tried. All logical connection and internet [nothing else on network having any issues just this one specific bulb I attempted to update] and the bulb sits there, dark while switch is in the “on” position. I Tried to “delete/readd the bulb to reset it. The power to the bulb is on but the bulb its-self is completely dead-won’t turn on at all. I am actually afraid now with the other 4 bulbs. That, If I should accidentally press to update them…… what? Im out more pricey light bulbs… there go more bulbs!? Not happy here with this Sylvania.😠

App stopped working
I’ve used this app ever since I got my smart bulbs. I never had an issue until tonight. The app won’t open long enough for it to be used or call tech support.
Simple feature miss
Would be a 5 but setup is a pain if you have a complex wifi password (which you should). A simple copy and paste feature into the password box when adding a new device would make a world of difference. Instead of having to write down the password because switching screens clears out the password field.

It’s nice
I love it, it lights up my room in one button but the only problem is when I don’t get on the app for so long and I have to redownloded it and I don’t know the password, but overall good I guess
So very close
I use this product all over my house and have so many great things to say about it. The only thing that I am begging the developers for is the ability to record a scene from a current state. It’s impossible to get the exact look that I really want my guessing in the controls.
Group lights
I used to be able to add lights to a group then control them all at one time. Not sure what happened to that
Great until
Everything was working great at first no complaints then my light bulb would no longer connect to my smart home and I have to go into the app to change the color manually. I tried updating the light bulb but each time it fails.
Firmware update killed my lightbulb
First my lightbulb started turning on randomly at 1am every night. Then I updated the software in the app, it failed, and now my lightbulb is garbage.
Support link broken
Group management has basically been removed. Cannot change brightness or color of a room or group. Very barebones now
Extremely annoying.
The lights kinda worked. Then there was an update for them. After updating them they still only kinda work but now there is the lovely addition of the lights turning off for about 30 seconds after they are turned on. Tried the app help button and it took me to an unknown page. I see why the lights were so cheap now. The smart plugs seem to work good.

Stopped working
I’m not sure what happened but this app is no longer working. I deleted it to try and get it back and it won’t even download. Please fix.
Bricked my lights
Lights progressively stopped connecting to the app. Then cannot be paired again, so now they just blink. Network is 100% fine and has not changed, tried all troubleshooting, just wasted time. I’ve now had to replace all of my bulbs with another brand.

don’t work
tried to connect my led strip lights i bought a few years ago, now it says that they aren’t supported by the app and that i have to contact the merchant? what’s up with that??

I had an issue with grouping devices for effects purposes and reached out to their support. Jean-Francois from their team picked up the ticket and walked me through the correct steps. Based on that changing my rating and overall satisfied with the product
