I like the app but when i click on a letter in the functions it goes to the r Letters

Recommend
I taught calculus and differential equations at a local university. I recommend this app for anyone who wants to do math. My PhD is in theoretical physics and I’ve ended up being an applied mathematician. The app is amazing!
It could be the BEST symbolic calculator app EVER!
but...
(1) fatal error: switching to degrees is completely ignored by the plot function and probably elsewhere. Yes, I read the recommendation not to use "degrees". Something as simple and useful MUST WORK consistently.
(2) error:"add new" in the function list. Fails to show all functions that were defined in the session. The shown functions are almost unreadable (black on almost black background)
(3) deficient: Not all built-in functions are in the function list. I wanted to define deg(x)=x/pi*180 which failed, because there was already a deg-function (that luckily did what I wanted)
(4) It is a pity, that this nice App is not maintained since 4 years. There is no documentation. The contact form on the webpage does not work.

I like the long visible history, ability to edit, memory variables and many functions.

Beste Taschenrechner App
Ich habe gefühlt hundert Apps getestet, aber diese App ist für mich die beste Taschenrechner App, die es für iPad oder iPhone gibt. Besonders bei Aufgaben mit aufeinander aufbauenden Rechnungen ist es sehr nützlich, auch ältere Ergebnisse mit einem Klick einsetzen zu können (ohne Copy&Paste), diesen Komfort habe ich bei keiner anderen App gefunden. Nur bei schnellen kurzen Berechnungen verwende ich stattdessen Free42.

Great app
This is the only calculator I use. I taught calculus and differential equations at my college. The authors even added a calculation at my request. I have only praise - no complaints.

1.과거에 월정액제를 하려 들었음. 흉악해서 다른 곳으로 다 넘어가니 그제사 이런 정결제로 했네?
2.근데 이 정결제 가격이 1.2만??? 어딜 가봐라. 이기능으로 1.2만씩이나 쳐받다니.
3.뭐? 개발자의 가치를 존중하라고? 그러면서 갤럭시 쪽 구글스토어는 공짜로 놓니?? 여기도 차라리 위에 광고 깔고 공짜하지!! 거기는 모든기능 다돼면서 무료더만.. 차별하냐?
ㅡㅡ결론 : 이거 사지마세요. 갤럭시 폰 직업상 추가로 갖고계신분들은 거기서 쓰시길.

Has serious flaws on ipad
This works quite well on an iPhone. However on an IPad there is no 2nd function to select an operation on the last answer which is frustrating. For example the only way to operate on the last calculation is to press either * , / or +. There is no way to subtract from the last calculation without either copy and pasting or entering the whole result again. There ought to be an “ans” function like on a normal calculator. If you want to say take square root of the last calculation what do you do? Please enlighten me if I’ve missed something.

Es maravillosa sobretodo si te dedicas a las matemáticas. Echo em falta alguna función como algo relacionado con la identidad de Bezout pero aún así es una aplicación perfecta

4 stars till the app can be able to solve inequalities!!
SymCalc charges me two times ( inadequately)

User Defined Functions...
Global user defined formulas are erased once the app is closed... Please update the app so that user definiese functions are not deleted upon app closure. (With this functionally working, this is a 5/5 app).

I already bought the former version.
The new one looks pretty much the same and I did not yet tested the new features.
I like this calculator as it keeps all the calculations visible and editable.
There are all the functions of a good scientific calculator.
In addition symbolic expressions works pretty well.

Great advanced calculator app
I love it! So glad the new version is out with 64 bit compatibility. Great tool for students.
