If I sat down to count my reviews of AppStore stuff — well, I have the attention span of a pinecone so I’d probably never get to doing that lol

but this app is maybe the coolest. I started with the basic version and then I guess it was a week or so ago that I decided I wanted the full version and honestly I’m loving it that much more.

At first I had said it was just the simplicity of the app but if I’m being entirely honest — once I started really thinking about it, the mathematics and geometry of it all is anything but simple.

I love this app but…

I love this app but there have been a few glitches where when I change colour and try to zoom in the whole design changes to that colour but otherwise it is the coolest app. I just want to be able to change colour

How do you reset this?

I was experimenting with the setting and now I can’t get back to making kalidescope images. :(

Hi Abner, it's hard to say exactly what's happening without knowing more, but in general the way to increase the number of folds of symmetry is to tap the symmetry button on the right toolbar (looks like a circle with one or more lines dividing it into sections) and adjust using the slider and button in that drawer. If you're having trouble feel free to reach out directly.

Fun and easy to use

The new (2026) update is very cool and quite sleek. The gallery feature is awesome!

Awesome app. I love all the new features rolling out - I’ve been using it for years but now being able to zoom, save, and share is great! It’s so relaxing and interesting to see all the shapes form!

Beautiful app

Lots of fun creating fractals, many color and mirroring options. The only thing i'd still like to see is the option to let color overpoint what's already there; right now the colors are additive meaning in the end it's all white. Great app though!

Hi, I'm sorry you had a negative experience. I just shipped a major update which fixed a variety of issues and should allow you to save patterns to the camera roll. Please feel free to reach out directly if this is still happening.

Terapeutico e relaxante!!

I've sent years with this thing.

This app's been on my phone for a solid two years, and boy am I happy with it. I just wish more tools would be put into it, like a tool for making smooth curves. It can be tough to draw those freehand.

Great

I love this app and use it relatively frequently. It works very well for the most part, though it can be frustrating when I'm making something, exit off, then soon come back to find that something deleted. Other than that, the current version is awesome. Also a quick suggestion: it would be cool to have a zoom-in feature :)

Best app ever

This is by far the most relaxing, blissful, distracting, and mind numbing app I've ever had. It's good for people who like an exact balance of chaos and structure. It's good for people who need to outlet their emotions in a stimulating way (visually). It's my favorite app. Honestly it's so good because I come home stressed from school and this just takes my mind off of it for a while so I can breathe

Great app for exploring symmetry, and just playing!

Set to symmetry to 2 to start kids exploring the concept of symmetry, or kick it up a few notches and draw beautiful, unexpected designs with random movements. Fun!
