Schnell und Zuverlässig
Einfach zu bedienen. Sync von 1,5 TB war in wenigen Stunden erledigt. Top! Allerdings kann man die „Aufgaben“ nicht speichern. Fair enough bei einer Free-Version. Da ich mehrere Aufgaben habe und nicht jedes Mal alles neu einstellen möchte, habe ich nach dem Text die Pro-Version gekauft. Einmalig 10€ kann man nicht meckern. Top Preis für eine gute App.

Not working properly in macOS Tahoe 26.2
Sync Folders used to function effectively after the initial setup in earlier versions of macOS. However, in macOS Tahoe 26.2, we encounter persistent failures, even though the profiles previously worked seamlessly. For instance, we frequently encounter issues reading files in ~/Library, despite providing it with full disk access multiple times. Consequently, I’ve switched to Syncovery (which also has its own learning curve), but it has eliminated all read errors.

It’s a lifesaver for backups because it only copies the files that have actually changed which saves me so much time when moving stuff between my device and external drives.

It works
I use this app to back up my drone photos and videos to my phone (iPhone 17 pro max, 1TB) then to my 2TB Lexar Professional Go SSD card. It actually works. I just wish it explains usage in more detail.
Syncing does not work
… for a smb: folder on MacOS. It found the same files twice and takes a lot of valuable time.

Schnelle und zuverlässige Synchronisation
Habe vor einigen Monaten zwei Ordner mit einander verlinkt und sync gestartet, seit dem keine Probleme gehabt. Die App macht was sie soll.
Confusing, difficult to configure
Almost impossible to determine what it’s going to do and the CONSTANT opening of a browser and the App Store to get you to buy Pro (Which I may have done) are just too annoying to deal with. Deleted.
Seit dem letzten Update Absturz
Tolles Tool, seit dem letzten Update stürzt es aber ab.
Sync geht nicht mehr so wie vor dem Mac Update Sequoia
Ich habe das Programm schon etwas länger. Hat alles sehr gut geklappt mit meinen MacBook Air M1. Ich Synce damit meinen Mac und mein NAS Laufwerk im Heimnetzwerk. Habe heute wieder mal einen Sync gemacht, hat ewig gedauert, das Programm hat alles wieder neu gesynct. Danach habe ich das Sync erneut angestoßen und das Programm wollte wieder alles erneut Syncen. Scheint so, als ob das Programm sich das nicht mehr merken kann was es soeben gesynct hat. Das war vor dem Update MacOS nicht so. Hoffe der Programmierer kann das beheben. Viel Erfolg an den Programmierer :-)

Great Utility App for Power Users!
This app is very useful if you have a lot of files you want to sync with an external storage drive! This is great for anyone who manages lots of large files, and wants a simple way to sync their backups from their iPad! 👍🏻. And the UI is very clean, they’ve adopted all of the proper UI paradigms that make it feel almost like a native app!

a superb app, and very reliable.
I take a lot of photographs, especially astrophotos, so I have to take hundreds of images for one target. I work on these in one area, but need to keep them somewhere else. Sync Folders is second to none when it comes to ease of use. I am can access my information from various sources and know that it is always up to date and relevant.

Misleading and Not what the App is for
This app is to sync between 2 folders in the device itself and not for folder syncing with any cloud services. Total waste of money.
Free version a WASTE OF TIME
Free versions are limited in functionality - YES I fully understand this.
But the free version of this lets you sync... a single folder - just ONE folder on your computer. Even if your folder had multiple sub-folders it syncs just one SUB-folder. Yes. A single, lowest level folder in your directory tree.
Don't even bother trying it. It's so limited you can't get any feel for how well it really performs. Don't even bother - or, if you're so convinced by the marketing bullsh*t, then pay for it.

Hello! You should set user rights on all subfolders to synchronize subfolders at all levels.
Excellent Cross-Platform File Backup & Sync App
If you are looking for an app that works on MAC and iOS platforms, this fits the bill perfectly. The program can allow you to link two folders to mirror one another or backup your device as a clone; to be restored as a complete snapshot in case of catastrophic failure. Five stars!
Abysmal Customer Support
I reported crashes multiple times a day and included the crash report.
Then after upgrading to macOS 14.4 the app froze on launch, which I reported.
