Basically frustrating
So, the chat is basic and works, however you can not edit or delete messages (sometimes you can do it for your own, but this is random), you can’t delete other people’s messages or images they send.

A great alternative
It’s a great alternative for escaping the iMessage nightmare. Don’t get me wrong:I like iMessage. But sometimes, certain things you only want to send to your loved ones on a more private chat channel. And this app with the Synology server together does a great job. But please update the emojis! Some might say there are AI generated emojis now and you can create everything as emojis. I have tried that already, nope, nothing beats the built in!

The startup password for the app needs to be strengthened.
Now the app startup password (screen lock password) is only a 4-digit code, which is not secure (it can be brute-forced by trying 9999 times). My BTC passphrase was in the chat history of the chat app... That's how it was stolen.
No notifications
Not working correctly. If app is not active on screen, no notification is coming.
