Paid doesn’t work

Contacted sales and support requesting a refund. No response. Save your money and time as this is very frustrating. If I had the money to purchase another program I’d dump Synthesis even though I’ve used it for 13 years. I don’t tolerate no responses.

Developer seems to have given up on this app

I bought a full version and paid for premium features. Unfortunately it’s been YEARS since they released an update.

I have reported multiple glitches multiple times. Nothing has been fixed! And now I can’t even get the app to open!!!

Don’r waste your money, folks.
I wish I could get a refund.

Need improvement

This app needs improvement. I paid $100 for the premium version and it’s been FOUR times that the app glitches and loses its features. As per their support team, it’s unclear what causes this, and I’m not the only one. The only solution they have is delete the app, reinstall, and lose all your saved clipboard data… It’s a total waste of money and time!

If we’re going to be asked to do this over and over again, then you should offer iCloud backup to restore data or a refund for the inconvenience.

Beyond terrible customer service

The app is okay, nothing extraordinary. The thing is that they don’t have competition so they settle for mediocre. You can install it in two devices, which files never synchronized, therefore I had to enter the data manually on each one so they had the same data. I tried to install the Premium features which cost additional Ca$40 and they never worked. I found an online thread that suggested you delete the app and re-install it and so I did and lost all my files (a nightmare!) and still didn’t have the “Premium Features”. Therefore I asked Apple for a refund which was granted. Then I contacted the company asking for support to install the Premium features before I tried purchased them again from the app store and never contacted me a week later. At Cad$180 plus tax, the app is quite expensive already and you’d expect more reactivity and a better customer service from the company. When I got a response from a Customer Representative, who had no idea what I was talking about and didn’t know how the app works at all. On one side you could notice that he didn’t know how to use it, what I even talking about, even less to troubleshoot for this app and that he didn’t even understand English and was using probably Google translation to communicate. The experience was so terrible and frustrating that I decided just to give up. I won’t be buying the Premium features. Also, from what I understood, you have to buy the Premium for each one of your devices, you cannot use the same subscription on two devices like the core subscription. If they have such a terrible service for the app I can’t even imagine the frustration if you pay thousands of dollars for the RadarOpus software and do the same! If you purchase this app be aware of the non-existent customer support and all the glitches and inconveniences it has.

Need improvement

This app needs improvement. I paid $100 for the premium version and it’s twice now that I’ve been forced to delete the app and reinstall because the premium features go missing. It’s a total waste because all my data is lost and there is no way to recover it. If we’re going to be asked to do this over and over again, then you should offer iCloud backup to restore data or a refund for the inconvenience. The Zeus Support also needs to be re-trained in what customer service means because there was no sense of customer and no sense of service when I’ve contacted them

Great Alternative to the Book

This app is wonderful, very easy to use and faster to search than the book (Synthesis 9.1). As a student of homeopathy I find it is great way to learn to navigate the repertory. I also like the initial analysis it provides on selected ruberics. Plus, it is portable, unlike most repertories, and can come along with me on my travels. I look forward to trying the import into RadarOpus feature to continue case analysis.

Glithy app. Limited features. No longer supported by anyone.

Unfortunately the developer seems to have completely dropped the ball on this app. It was decent in the beginning, but now it’s buggy and devs don’t seem to care. Great shame, because this app has a potential to be the perfect homeopathic repertory solution on the go. And yet - no bug fixes, no new features, most remedies still don’t have materia medica descriptions (and, evidently, never will), despite the fact that you have to pay extra for the “premium features”. I’m very dissapointed in this app. It’s been a source of much frustration to me. I really hope that someone else will soon fill this gap and develops a perfect mobile homeopathic reference app.

The app is okay but the support is lacking

I’ve spent $130 on the app and another $30 on the premium features. The app is okay but now it’s asking me to buy the premium features again… I’ve contacted tech support by email yesterday and by ticket today. I’m still waiting to hear back and I cannot use the features until they respond. I’m obviously mot paying another $30 for what seems to be a problem on their end. Even after following the steps on their online forum, which includes restarting app, and deleting and re-installing, the issue is still there. I can see in the forum that more than 1,113 people have viewed the same post, presumably most of them having issues with the in-app purchases… Please fix this or provide proper tech support 🙏🏼

Such a great idea and fantastic product but has some bugs

This app is great to invest in for the homeopathy student and it’s experienced homeopath alike. It’s relatively easy to use, doesn’t have the complicated and clunky usage of the full version and is great when you want to throw a whole bunch of rubrics together.
But… sometimes I have to repeat a Repertorisation 3 or more times for a client before it will save in the system and there is no button to click on to save an analysis. It will just wipe all my hard work and is very frustrating. I even paid more to have more clients’ analyses saved into it.

It will sometimes freeze and restart, losing all my work

It will occasionally open a chapter and there will be no remedies listed underneath the rubrics which is super frustrating and I will have to reboot the whole thing to get the remedy list that should be underneath to come back

I haven’t found a way to play with the rubrics to make one more important than the others but maybe I need to go back into the tutorials for that one? I’d love an answer if there is one to help work around these issues

Good, but needs a couple of features

I previously gave this repertory app 3 stars after an iOS update that left it glitchy. That rating was perhaps a little generous and at least partly based on the complete dearth of good repertory apps at the time.

That said, those problems have been fixed, and a basic search function has been added. (Thanks!) But I think this 4-star rating is also slightly on the generous side.

I use this app nearly as much as I use RadarOpus. I export my work by email and save it in RadarOpus. I don’t mind the basic interface or email-only export option, and I don’t require fancy analysis options.

However, I would LOVE it if Synthesis would add one simple feature: *the ability to combine rubrics*. Synthesis has been doing great work to clean up the repertory, but there are still myriad incomplete rubrics scattered about, and the ability to merge those would really improve this product.

Feature request #2: The ability to *mark rubrics* in a wider variety of ways. You can already bookmark a rubric, but how about a star mark for favorite rubrics and a blackball, grey-out mark for lousy ones?

Synthesis is hands-down the best modern repertory in homeopathy. This app gets its first 2 stars simply because of the quality of the repertory itself. A little more work could get this app another star.

Having this on my IPad is incredible,
Highly recommended!

The only game in town

Been dreaming for years like me about iPhone access to the repertory? Newsflash, the wait is over! There have long been several consumer-level, inexpensive or free homeopathy apps out there of course, but Synthesis Repertory is a contender for the world's top repertory; having it at your fingertips on your iPhone app is historic. As a high-end, professional tool in a niche market, it's priced appropriately. It is easy to use.

If you want truly pocket-sized, on-the-go reportization and don't want to be weighed down by a tablet, run, don't walk to get Synthesis English for your iPhone/smartphone. It's the only game in town.
