Great synth except when I open it as a audio unit extension in garage band it won’t let me clear modulation off of presets pls fix
Something changed, old projects sound different
UGH! Happens way too often with iOS synths. Revisit an old project after a few years and the patches sound wrong. I give up.

Ich finde es klasse, dass diese App als Universal veröffentlicht wurde. Auf meinem Mac läuft sie in Logic. Auf dem iPad wird sie nicht angezeigt. Ist für mich nicht so gut, da ich oft Ideen zuerst auf dem iPad festhalte und dann irgendwann auf Mac wechsle. Die vielen SynthMaster Versionen sind auch etwas verwirrend. Keine Ahnung, welcher Content auf welcher Version läuft.
Korrektur: Ist ein Namensproblem. Tritt in Logic iPad unter k331 als Hersteller auf statt KV331.

Got all my desktop extensions on iPad!
I got the desktop SynthMaster One free this December, and all the expansions for only $39. Then bought the iPad SynthMaster One for $4 and registered using my desktop serial number. Instantly got all the desktop goodies on my iPad without having to pay again. That’s how all desktop/IOS developers should do it!

Ich schon vor langer Zeit die Entwickler darauf aufmerksam gemacht das Ableton Link nicht mehr funktioniert. Deshalb nur 4 Sterne
With BACKGROUND off, the synth doesn’t sound at all
Even when not un background, it’s completely muted.
If one MUST keep the option enabled, ti hear any sound at all, why to put a BACKGROUND Setting? 🤷♂️

Very good quality synth engine. Can do vintage analog very well and cutting edge modern stuff very well also! Can’t wait for SM3 for iOS!!!

I no longer get any audio!? No sound at all. Not sure if an o/s update broke things, but it needs fixing!

Underwhelmed and Overwhelmed
First of all: In terms of Sound poissibilitys and experimenting this can be a great synth. Seems to be a workhorse, BUt:
the UI is irritating at best. Way to much things are organized in a unintuitive way, it doesn't feel responsive in some/ many things, the way of modulations is somehow smart, but also can be really annoying. I get why people love it and whe people hate it. I'd love to love it but don't know if i got the nerves to use it besides a quick playaround, sadly

Finally I can enjoy this great synth. I actually prefer it to synthmaster2 as the interface is more user friendly, even though the wavetable content is not as extensive.

I want to ask if you can fix the little keys on the app because every time I put it on hold or long tone mode, it’s just like cutting off on each of the keys. I’m not complaining! I’m just asking if you can fix it please. I need to get a response from you.

I love that you made the synthesizer have the imitation of closeness of me being in band class at my school! It can make me feel that my band teacher is nearby. It also imitates my trumpet that I play during concerts at my school. I love using the SynthMaster One synthesizer that I can transpose to the key of Bb. Mostly important for band. I can play any song I want. I can even play while my band teacher is away now. I would thank you for making the synthesizer imitate the closeness of me being in band at my school! I would really appreciate it!😊❤️

IMPORT/EXPORT MIDI MAPPINGS FIXED👍
IpadOS16.5.1 update has fixed the issues listed below. All is excellent with both SM1&2 👍

The Menu/Import/Export Midi Mappings does not work at all! Every single parameter that is assigned to a control has to be manually assigned every time the app is launched because ALL Midi Learn Mappings are instantly lost when closing the app, SM1 only exports a blank document. 25th FEB This app has a brilliant sound but unfortunately it is so unreliable when it comes to Midi Learn….it constantly forgets what it has learned, same as SM2. Money not well spent I’m afraid ☹️ 9th Nov. SYNTHMASTER 1 & 2 iOS are the best synths ever, grab it whilst it is free until end of November, I can assure you you won’t regret it. I’ve had this app nearly 2 years and there is still loads of brilliant features I haven’t even looked at yet 👌no chance of ever being bored with SYNTHMASTER. 1 Year ago. Synthmaster One is one of my main synths that is used in all my Cubasis3 projects, it has many beautiful sounding lead and pad presets. I use many Au3 instances of both SMO & SM2 on my iPad Air 4 with no problems. I hope fadeamiga manages to sort out his sound glitch problem, may I suggest turning off “Background Audio” in SMO Settings, that worked for me, I almost returned my iPad thinking it was faulty!

Hello, There is a menu option to export/import the midi mappings. You can export the parameters to your own file and they will be there unless you delete that file. This is especially quite helpful if you are using different midi controllers each having different cc values.
