Midi panic would save our ears a bit-
-as this app definitely needs one... The sounds are good, and playability is decent, but why would you pay to play sounds and as you put it-rent-an app while others out there are of much higher quality and don't nickel and dime us monthly, but do it the ios way ONE PRICE, Forever! I do not rent apps nor will many of us ever do so, because frankly in this case, it would hardly deserve anything over ten to BUY it and everything in it, but to rent it monthly is absurd.

Screen resolution issue
Bottom of screen is cut off on iPad Air Gen 5, which has a resolution of 2360 x 1640. This is a ration of .695. The app displays correctly on an iPad Air 2, which has a resolution of 2048 x 1536 and a ration of .75.
The app is pretty nice though. You can have 4 layers / synths running at once. There are a ton of nice effects to add for each layer independently. I also think it sounds great.
I hope they can fix this issue in a future version.

Variety Is The Spice Of Life
A quote from The Hobbit: “Everything tastes like chicken except the chicken, which tastes like fish!” I tried the free version just to get an idea on the accuracy of the four instruments. They all sounded like the same patch except the Blau, which sounded like the chime setting on an old Kimball organ. Not impressed at this point. I only want three of the synths offered, is it possible to get just those on IOS?

Keystage
Love it but it’s hard to use when it doesn’t work, Haha. Stand alone fine. It does not seem to play nice with Keystage. Maybe it’s me…
Warning
If your wanting to use this as AUv3 don’t bother just crashes constantly trial it first plus it seems like every synth sounds pretty much the same in therory it’s awesome but for the price of it and what you actually get just a big fat no
Not functional
Big fan of IK Amplitube is amazing. But this app is simply unusable. The UI is cool completely unresponsive. Adding a MIDI controller just makes it worse.
The non mobile version is really good. This one is not.

I LIKE IT BUT....
App version needs a deep editing feature for changing waveforms with sub-oscillators. Overall, it’s awesome!
Don’t bother
Yes you get the “synths” but no real control over them so they never sound quite right. IK can’t you let us at least have the oscillators??
Unusable in any form of live environment
It’s a very expensive nice to have bare clone of the windows version. Unfortunately though, the amount of held notes it errors on constantly if you touch the screen whilst playing make it unusable, and there’s no panic button to hit to try and quickly reset.
To be honest, the moog and korg emulations are so much more revealing than this. This app isn’t cheap, and it’s completely outshined by the former and the impressive AudioKit synths that pay homage to a genre.
Wasted opportunity, and also seemingly forgotten about by IK at this point. Could’ve been so much better.

Stole my money
I paid $125 for the 22 Synth expansion pack and they did not give me the synths! This is because the app needs to update for the synths to show. They won’t admit this to me, they just keep telling me I need to restore my purchases and sign in and out of iCloud. It doesn’t work, I feel quite violated as a customer.

Great collection of synths but crashes
Beautifully sampled collection of classic synths. Only problems I’m having is excessive crashes in iPadOS 15 using beatmaker, AUM and stand alone versions.
Cubasis 3
Like the app so thinking of upgrading. Records into cubasis 3 no problem but cannot adjust the volume using cubasis3 mixer. Any thoughts?
Audiobus 3 fail
Sounds great. Classic sounds. Blows on Audiobus. Unsure how much use I’ll get out of it.
Good synth / terrible company
The hardware products are good and innovative ..but many come with cheap proprietary chords ..that are not easy to replace...why do this to your people?..maybe to make more money I guess?..but not cool..
The customer service is probably the worst I can think of..
no phone ..they will respond with , what seems like a Robot that is no help, very hard and frustrating to get any help...the software is just a trap to hook you into the pricey ecosystem..it’s actually decent yes..but not worth it to deal with this company on any level..shame because it could be different and Ik could be awesome but , I don’t have much faith..rn
*Use caution or just don’t use there products ,many other options
*I will update if it gets better..I do use the Irig keys i/o , its very cool but has awful cords..and is not easy to assign functions...not many videos , and again ..the support is a cruel joke

It’s worth it...
If you know what you are doing with the app and how to do professional grade music production, you can get solid sounds. Otherwise, there are plenty of great synth apps that don’t cost as much. This is app for deep hobbyists and pro producers.
Probably not worth it
The free version is too limited for most proposes. The keyboard is glitchy and doesn't respond to touch. The full desktop software is good though. It's a shame buying the deluxe doesn't come with the deluxe mobile version. If that changes I'll consider updating this review.
Many Better Synths on the Market Or Free
Its a bit uninspiring ! Many more free or very cheap bargains on
Pluginboutique. With some excellent Synths. Sounds on this
Syntronik are outdated and a bit thin.

Not enough in the free version to convince me to purchase anything. Will delete and get the space back on my ipad
A Fair Comment
The Effects section is what makes it worth purchasing the Standard but The Synths Themselves are not worth the £10 each as add ons.
At the concern for those younger producers yet to be bought on an all in program where they will adapt The Price of Synth add ons for the kids.
KORG GADGET IS ALL YOU AUGHT BE GIVING YOUR FULL ATTENTION .
AKAI SAMPLER and your nearly on tour .
