Systematize

Systematize is a puzzle game about building systems that work. Each puzzle gives you a board, a set of fixed components you cannot move, and a palette of parts you can place. Your goal is a target state: gauges reading in range, pistons extended or retracted, gears spinning or locked. There is only one way to satisfy all conditions at once. The game has two physical systems. The pressure system moves fluid through pumps, pipes, valves, and chambers. The mechanical system turns gears and shafts from a motor. Early chapters introduce each system separately. Later chapters combine them, and bridge components connect the two into a single circuit. One new component is introduced per chapter. There are no tutorials — each component teaches itself through the puzzles built around it. Chapters I, II, and III are free.
