About

Nine card games from Haryana and North India, in one app, with the rules the way they are actually played at the table. DEHLA PAKAD Catch the tens. Four players, two teams, and a hand that can turn on the last trick - win seven tricks and still lose if the tens go the other way. Call Trump and Cut Hukum both supported, with Sirs on or off. COURT PIECE Rang, Sir, Coat Piece. All three forms: Single Sir, Double Sir and Hidden Rung, each a genuinely different game rather than a renamed one. CALL BREAK Lakdi. Four players, no partners, spades always trump. Call your tricks and get paid or docked against them. The strict legality rules are the real ones: you must overtake in suit and you must overtrump when void. BHABHI Thulla. Get rid of your cards. Winning a trick is the last thing you want, because the highest card of the suit picks up when somebody cannot follow. Three to six players. BEGGA KAAT Duck the begams and the paan. The player with the highest total loses. TEEN DO PAANCH 3-2-5. Three players, three quotas: the dealer must take two tricks, the player after the dealer five - and names trump from their first five cards - and the third player three. MENDIKOT The Maharashtra cousin of Dehla Pakad: four players, two teams, and the tens decide it. JUDGEMENT Kachuful. Bid exactly the tricks you will take, and the ladder changes the rules every hand. KLONDIKE SOLITAIRE Taash Patti. Draw-1 and draw-3, Standard and Vegas scoring - and the deals are solved in advance, so the game you are given can be won. WHY THIS ONE Rules that match the table. Every contested rule is a setting, not a guess, and the defaults were chosen from how these games are actually played in Haryana - not from whichever version was easiest to code. Bots that are honest. Every bot is labelled as a bot, at the table and in the lobby. You are told before you sit down if a table will be filled with them. None of them can see your cards. Plays offline. Every table in this version is on your own device and needs no connection at all. Hindi, Hinglish, Urdu, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Nepali and English throughout, with the desi names kept as the desi names. No coin purchases. Coins are earned by playing and cannot be bought, traded or cashed out. There is no wagering here of any kind.
