Whenever I open the app it says I need a universe but see no option to create one.

Good when it works

I haven't used the app since my last update. When I did use it I thought it was great! Made my games more exciting for my players. Unfortunately I've got a problem where the app essentially reset and is asking me to select a universe when I boot it up. It proceeds to not show any universes! I'm kinda sad cause I was looking forward to using the app tonight for my weekly session but I can't.

“no universe available”

App opens, tells me there is no universe available and asks me to update. I click update, the prompt closes, and does nothing.

Doesn’t seem to work at all

For me, the app didn’t work at all. Both iPhone and iPad show “No Universe Available” but I don’t see how to select or add one. Am I missing something?

Just doesn’t work

After downloading the app and content packs, the app doesn’t do the one thing it’s made to do, which is play audio.

Toller Kern, verwirrende und buggy UI

Die Idee hinter der App ist sehr cool und sie bietet auch viel Potential. Aber leider ist die Umsetzung selbst leider bestens mittelmäßig. Die App ist unübersichtlich, und selbst auf einem aktuellen iPad Pro laggy. Ich weiß nicht, warum so viel spezielle UI gebaut wurde anstatt sich auf die Kernfunktionalität zu konzentrieren und eine Standard UI zu bauen die wenigstens gut funktioniert.

Leider bleibt das Angebot so weit hinter dem beworbenen zurück.

App does not play nice with other audio

Saw some ads, took a look for a phone app soundboard that was DnD themed. Couldn’t get any audio to play at all from the app.

At first believed this may be an app bug. I tried clearing everything away and then attempted again: this time was successful in audio playing. HOWEVER, my need is to have a fantasy styled soundboard I can play behind my decade+ curated music for my DnD sessions. This app completely breaks if another audio app of my kind gets used.

For someone new or not picky, this does fine I guess? I would recommend PocketBard over this though for a free user.

Amazingly produced ambience!

The packages of music, sounds, and ambience sound perfect for pretty much all the generic scenes I have in my campaigns! I’d have to say some of them are silly though like the zombie noises and screams, but the rest genuinely scratch that tension uneasy feeling for scary ambiences and the happy wholesome ambiences don’t annoy me like other happy ambiences I’ve encountered!

Can’t wait for more samples!

Either user error (bad if not explained) or bugged app

Saw some ads, took a look for a phone app soundboard that was DnD themed. Couldn’t get any audio to play at all from the app. Nothing in the tutorial suggested something else needed to be done. If some other action was needed, this isn’t made clear at all. The top said now playing, but no actual audio was being registered from the phone as being played from the app.

App doesn’t work without payment

I downloaded this app as I run my own homebrew campaign and wanted to play sounds/music without getting ads. I was throughly disappointed when I opened the app and the interface doesn’t work. Like nothing plays, despite clicking multiple buttons and settings. The only interface that seems workable is the “start trial” which isn’t a trial because you have to pay for it. This app would be massively improved if there was a limited, free version. Don’t be fooled by the “free” advertising.

Great app but struggling on iPad

Really like the app but I’m struggling to get it to recognise my subscription on my iPad, my iPhone is fine though. Any help on getting my sub on the iPad would be much appreciated, other than that I love it!

So underrated!!

I haven’t payed a dime and this app is so amazing and useful, there is so much free content and you get to control every aspect of the audio! You get to control the tone, the location, and the ambiance aside from music. There are even a few awesome sound effects. What I love most is how cleanly it transitions from different sounds. I WILL be using this in my DnD campaign. Absolutely phenomenal!

Didn’t work?

Didn’t seem to work, locations were blank, play button did nothing. Probably user error, but that in itself means a problem with design. If the app requires a subscription to function, that is a problem when someone wants to demo (not trial) the app. Would recommend a functional limited demo with no requirement to pay first if that’s the case. Free trial = payment; that is not a demo.

Is there an update?

Unsure if there’s an update I missed, or perhaps in the works but, the music and sound only work intermittently. I did a test play before our game and it worked fine. Went to use it for the the game and was sorely disappointed. I did the usual, checked the Bluetooth connection, turned on and off all devices, I even deleted and re-downloaded the Table Tone app. It still will NOT play! I would really like to use this for our game.
