About

Going somewhere with friends? Tabmates keeps the group's shared costs in one place, so nobody runs a spreadsheet and nobody chases anyone for money mid-trip. For any trip or outing: a weekend getaway, a road trip, camping, a cabin, an international trip, a ski weekend, or just dinner and a night out. HOW IT WORKS • Create a group and share the 6-character invite code. • Add expenses as they happen: lodging, gas, groceries, tickets, rentals, dinners. • Pick who paid and who shared it. Tabmates splits it equally, to the cent. • At the end, tap Settle Up. Expenses lock and Tabmates works out the fewest payments to get everyone even. • Mark each payment as paid. When everyone's square, the group shows Settled. WHY GROUPS LIKE IT • Fewer payments: debts are simplified, so 5 friends need at most 4 transfers, not a web of IOUs. • Clear balances: see who's up and who owes at any time. • Settle once, not every night: keep adding all trip long, square up when you're home. • Made a mistake? Edit or delete expenses, or reopen a settled group. PRIVATE AND FREE • Sign in with Apple or Google. • No ads. No tracking. • Delete your account any time from Settings. Good to know: amounts are in US dollars, and every expense is split equally among the people who shared it. Tabmates was previously called SplitEasy. Questions or ideas?
