Flawless and helpful
I discovered Tack Sharp 1.0 three years ago and found it extremely helpful. Lenses used to have focal range on them, but they typically don't anymore and Tack Sharp filled that helpful function. Now, TS 2.0 has an improved interface and the incredible added bonus of the included iWatch app -- I cannot stress enough how wonderful this function is! Us photogs have a lot of equipment already, but few (if any?) are almost hands-free. When I switch lenses or am in an unusual situation, the one-handed ease with which I can dial in for my focal range right on my wrist is priceless to me. I love my iWatch in general, but using Tack Sharp on it pays for it, in my mind.
I do a lot of portrait work with an 85mm prime and when I get close, I sometimes have only an inch or two of focal range -- I don't have to guess and nail it without trial-and-error, especially when working with squirming kids. It's fast too, doesn't feel like there's information loading, but rather is already there for access.
It's a great tool, definitely worth the couple dollars purchase price.
