About

Tack helps you figure out how much you need to live the month and see, day by day, whether you're on track. You start by setting up the life you want to live: a monthly goal, fixed costs (rent, internet), subscriptions, and how much you set aside for irregular expenses like clothes, gifts, repairs. Tack does the math and splits what's left across the days. Then just log it. The app opens straight to the screen where you type the amount, pick a tag, and you're done. 3 seconds. No forced categorization, no onboarding. As you log, the app shows you the course: • today: are you on pace, or already over? • this week: how much is left for the days ahead? • this month: what's the trend? Three screens. Diary to log, Trend to see, Planning to define. That's it. Logging manually sounds like a chore. That's the point. Each expense you type is a moment of awareness — you stop, you see, you log it. Strung together, these small acts become understanding of your financial life. And understanding is what gives you real control. Not alarms. Most finance apps try to do everything for you: import from your bank, categorize, alert, nudge. Tack does the opposite. You're the one steering. Privacy: Everything stays on your iPhone. No account, no login, no server, no analytics, no tracking. Your financial data never leaves the device. Small tacks, on course.
