About

TactiBeat is a rhythm-first tactile audio app for iPhone. It analyzes audio and video files locally on your device, saves waveform and haptic results for repeat playback, and can turn online media, nearby live sound, and livestream sources into tunable Core Haptics activity. What you can do: • Import local audio or video files for on-device analysis • Download direct remote media URLs and save generated haptic results • Feel nearby live sound through microphone-driven real-time haptics • Turn direct audio, video, or HLS stream URLs into bass and rhythm haptic activity • Tune intensity, sensitivity, density, timing offset, haptic style, Beat Focus, Deep Bass, and other mapping presets • Inspect energy, onset, intensity, sharpness, cue timing, and pulse spacing TactiBeat works best with material that has obvious rhythm, percussion, downbeats, pauses, and strong energy changes. It avoids turning every loud section into one continuous buzz; the app favors distinct tactile hits with readable space between them. Streaming is for direct audio, video, or HLS URLs. Protected music-service streams are not supported. Vibration cannot faithfully preserve pitch, lyrics, or timbre, so TactiBeat focuses on timing, physical pulse, and rhythmic feel. TactiBeat is not a medical device and does not replace hearing aids, cochlear implants, clinical care, or professional advice.
