Worst news app
What a terrible app one of the best newspapers in Switzerland has built. It's design with the huge (too large) tiles is not handy. Much worse and really annoying is that the newspapers many many times won't download as pdf. Or only yesterdays version is available. I cannot believe that they have not addressed it a long time ago. This terrible app is out there for a long time now and TA don't seem to care

Nützlich, aber unstabil
Die App funktioniert gut genug, dass ich seit mehr als einem Jahr die Papier-Ausgabe nicht mehr verwende. Andererseits hat sie auch reichlich Mängel: Crasht mehr als all meine anderen Apps zusammen, und wenn man, wie ich, die Zeitung von vorne nach hinten durchzulesen gewohnt ist, kriegt man denselben Artikel in mehreren Blöcken und viele Tage hintereinander zu sehen.

Awful performance
App continually crashes and is laggy. I do not like the fact that the news is continuously updated and I am not shown which articles I had already read. It is now more like a website.

Gut informiert in den Tag
Die Webapplikation des Tagi öffnet rasch, ist übersichtlich und gut strukturiert. Man ist bestens informiert.
Good, but navigation needs improvement
Loading is slow and navigation is very primitive. Content is of course the same as the hardcopy newspaper

As an expat living in the US I like to keep current in Swiss politics and events. The online TA is great for this.

My first impression: This is a top newspaper app! I particularly like the easy navigation taking full advantage of iPad's capabilities. Further good features: online part with up-to-date news, comment section, archive.

Als Auslandschweizer gibt mir der Tages Anzeiger eine Fülle von hochwertiger Information, nicht nur von der Schweiz sondern auch weltweit. Das Format ist klar und angenehm zu lesen. Das Lesen dieser Applikation gehört zu meiner täglichen Routine.
Hat noch Verbesserungspotential
Navigation ist nicht optimal. Man verliert schnell die Übersicht. Schaut mal nach wie es die andere grosse Zeitung auf dem zürcher Platz es gelöst hat. Viel eleganter.
I miss the live updates
The navigation in the app is sometimes a bit slow, and I wish I could just download the whole newspaper in the morning and read it offline whenever I want to (similar to the Sonntags Zeitung iPad App).
Also, an RSS feed instead of the two 'versions' would be better in my opinion.
However, the overall convenience of the app and the presentation of the articles is very nice and I will definitely not miss the old paper based Tagi.

Ich freue mich jeden morgen news aus meiner heimat zu lesen,nach all den vielen jahren in USA fehlt mir mein Tagi immer noch. Thanks for a good job done mit der computer ausgabe

Grundsätzlich ist die App eine gute Sache, obwohl sie manchmal ein wenig langsam lädt und die Navigation schwerfällig sein kann.
Sie sollte für Abonnenten gratis sein. Wie das andere Medientitel auch anbieten.
Ich muss auch zugeben, dass ich aus Aktualitätsgründen oft auf die Internetausgabe des Tagis wechsle. Diese schätze ich seit den Anfängen. Als ich 1998-2000 in den USA lebte, war dies mein Anschluss an die gute alte Heimat.

Taggi App
Die App ist recht gut, persönlich finde ich es genügte eine Ausgabe täglich (so wie die richtige Zeitung ja auch nur ein mal täglich erscheint) aber es sollte einen aktuellen newsticker geben und für Abonnenten gratis sein ! Ausserdem vermisse ich Leserbriefe sowohl als auch das tägl. TV Programm in der online Ausgabe.
