Taggo: Ride & Cargo

- Meet Taggo Buddy, a voice assistant built into the app. Hold the button and talk, or just type. Buddy can book a ride door to door, schedule one for later, quote an approximate fare before you commit, or find a place — like a specific address or type of business — and book a ride straight to it. - Buddy shows you the pickup, the drop-off and the approximate fare first, and nothing is booked until you confirm with Face ID or your fingerprint. Once booked, the ride behaves like any other Taggo booking, with the same live tracking and driver details. A live Buddy conversation now survives leaving the screen — step away and come back to find it still there, with any driver-arrived or ride-completed update you missed, and announcement cards that show what actually happened rather than always saying "accepted." - If voice is unavailable, Buddy keeps going as a text conversation instead. Voice sessions also start faster now, with a live waveform shown while you're holding the button to speak. If a session's connection drops, reconnecting no longer risks getting stuck — retrying always recovers cleanly instead of occasionally leaving the assistant unresponsive. - Explore UAE: a new tab to browse the emirates and discover top places to visit, each with a photo gallery and description. Filter by place type, and tap Book Now to ride there directly in a Taggo — no need to search for the address yourself. - New VIP Service: pick a chauffeur (male or female) and choose from the available luxury cars nearby. A car with a driver close by is marked Recommended; a car with no driver nearby is marked Busy and can no longer be booked by mistake, so you always know what you're picking and are never charged for a ride with no driver actually available. - New Airport Travel: pick your airport from a list first, then either book your ride right now or schedule it ahead of time — handy for an early flight booked the night before. - Cargo delivery payment summaries now list every charge on your shipment, including the weight fee that was previously missing, so the total always matches what you see itemized. - Pay with Apple Pay directly in the app, alongside your existing card and wallet options. - Driver and car details now appear the moment a driver accepts your ride. Previously the trip screen could show "Driver Assigned" with no name, no vehicle, and no car visible on the map. - Driver arrival progress and ETA now follow the actual road route, with stale or inaccurate GPS fixes filtered out — the progress bar and map marker never jump backwards. Live trip updates recover on their own after a network drop and replay anything you missed. - If a payment fails to settle right after your trip, retry it directly from the app. Abandoned card payments from earlier bookings can also be resumed. - Chat shows when your driver is online and when they were last seen. Send photos and voice notes in delivery chats, not just ride chats. - Cancelling a ride is clearer end to end: the exact fee (if any) is shown before you confirm, and the receipt records who cancelled, the reason, and what was actually charged. - Delivery instructions like "leave at doorstep" now reach your driver correctly. Sign-in and verification errors are clearer, and drivers who try to sign in here are pointed to the Taggo Driver app. - Scheduled rides keep the exact pickup time you chose, regardless of time zone. Photos you send are stripped of location data before upload. - Notifications arrive in the language you use the app in, and system permission prompts appear in Arabic when your device is set to Arabic. - If a route is too short to price, you get a clear message instead of an error. Promo codes are temporarily unavailable when paying for a cargo shipment.
