Honestly, a bit of a let down, idea is great, execution, not so much, it relies on system sound setting and can be easily muted

We welcome all points of improvement, and have implemented an update (3.1.0) to fix this issue. The sound cannot now be manipulated by the user, but stays completely fixed until you have turned off the alarm. This comes alongside other streamlined features, and app polishes. Hope you enjoy!
