About

Tahor is a halacha-aware cycle tracker built for observant Jewish women. It handles the full taharas hamishpacha workflow — from period start through hefsek taharah, the seven clean days, and mikvah night — with the precision the halacha requires. Your data never leaves your device. No accounts, no cloud sync, no servers. Everything is stored privately on your iPhone. WHAT TAHOR TRACKS Period start date and time — including which onah (day or night) it began Hefsek taharah date with earliest valid day calculated automatically Seven clean days with morning and evening bedikah logging Mikvah night based on your actual hefsek date All three vesetot: Onah Beinonit (Day 30), Veset HaChodesh, and Veset HaHaflagah CALENDAR VIEW Each day in the calendar is split at sunset — day onah on the left, night onah on the right. Cycle phases are color-coded (waiting period, hefsek, clean days, mikvah). Veset dots appear in the correct onah half. Tap any day to view details or edit entries. ACCURATE ZMANIM Tahor connects to HebCal to calculate sunset and nightfall times for your exact location. Bedikah reminders and mikvah night notifications are scheduled using real zmanim for your city — not a fixed clock time. Both Hebrew (3-star) and Rabbeinu Tam nightfall standards are supported. SMART REMINDERS Hefsek taharah available: morning reminder + 2 hours before sunset Moch dachuk: optional reminder 1 hour before sunset Day 7 bedikah: morning reminder, 1 hour before sunset, and urgent 20-minute reminder Mikvah night: 5 minutes after nightfall Veset days: evening before and morning of All reminders use your local zmanim — no manual sunset entry needed VESET TRACKING Tahor automatically calculates all three required vesetot from your cycle history and displays them on the calendar and in a dedicated Veset screen with countdown timers. Onah separation reminders are sent the evening before and the morning of each veset day. MINHAG SUPPORT Litvish (Ashkenaz): morning bedikah required on Day 1 and Day 7 only Chassidish: morning bedikah every day of the seven clean days PRIVACY & SECURITY Optional Face ID / Touch ID lock All data stored locally on your device Zero analytics, zero tracking, zero ads Delete everything instantly from Settings HEBREW CALENDAR Full Hebrew date display throughout the app, including gematria notation on the calendar. Veset dates are shown with both Gregorian and Hebrew dates. Tahor is designed as a personal reference tool. It does not replace consultation with a halachic authority (posek) for questions of halacha.
