Throw Back Fun

I love the advanced graphics on the old-school theme of the classic tailgunner experience! It reminds me of being in the arcade in 1981 but better graphics!

Great Entertainment

Found this by coincidence…. It’s challenging, but with practice you will be able to beat the levels. Some of the planes are a real pain, but I enjoy getting better with every try.

Wonderful and entertaining

The game is challenging. Ads are minimal. What I really like is that you’re not punished when you fail at any particular wave of enemy aircraft. You are simply provided with another opportunity without having to watch an ad or pay a price.
Highly recommend

FAQ

What is Tail Gun Charlie?

Tail Gun Charlie is an arcade shooter game where you take on the role of a tail gunner defending a bomber during World War II. You'll use your phone's controls to aim and fire at incoming enemy aircraft.

How do I control the guns?

You can aim your guns using your phone's gyroscope or the touchscreen. Firing is done by touching either of the red buttons. Be mindful of gun overheating; if they get too hot, they will stop firing until they cool down.

Is the game free to play?

Yes, the game is free to download and play. However, it does include in-app purchases and advertisements, which are common monetization models for free mobile games.

What kind of enemy planes will I face?

You will face a variety of Axis fighter planes, including Me-109s, FW-190s, Bf-110s, and Me-262s. The game features ever-growing waves of these enemy aircraft to challenge your defenses.

What happens if too many enemies get past me?

The game has a limited lives system, with only 5 lives available. If 5 enemy fighters manage to get past your defenses, it results in a game over for you and your flight crew.
