About

Taiwan Parking is a live map of parking across Taiwan. Open it and see which spaces are free nearby and what the rates are — and, if you drive an EV, where you can charge. What you get • More than 24,000 parking locations in 22 counties and cities, over 16,000 of them with a live count of free spaces • On-street parking in 12 counties and cities, shown block by block, junction to junction, instead of one point per road • In eight cities you can see whether each individual bay is free or taken (Taipei, New Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Pingtung and Hualien City — more than 100,000 bays) • Rates are shown on the map, with each authority's original wording on the detail card • Full English interface, including rates and district names EV charging • More than 3,000 charging stations across Taiwan, most with live status for every connector: free, in use or out of order • Pick "My connectors" and the map and list count only the connectors your car can use, with DC fast and AC listed separately • Charging and parking fees on the detail card How we treat the numbers • Where a source publishes no count we show "Unknown" — never 0 • When a source responds normally but its numbers have stopped moving, the app says so at the top of the map and tells you how old they are • On-street figures cover only bays that have sensors; bays without one are not reported as occupied • Bays whose sensor appears faulty (for example, reporting free for an unusually long time while nearby bays are busy) are shown in grey and not counted as free • Counts, charger status and rates can be delayed or wrong — always follow the signage on site What you do not have to do • No account, no sign-in • No payment, no in-app purchases, no advertising • Your location is used only to find parking near you — we don't store it or track you Data comes from the open data platforms of city and county governments across Taiwan, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications' Transport Data eXchange (TDX), and information private car park operators publish themselves.
