About

Take a Stack is a line-by-line voiceover workstation for creators who need to move from script to finished track without losing the best read. Paste a script, capture multiple takes, compare delivery, lock winners, run a delivery check, and master the final sequence entirely on device. It is built for narration, auditions, podcast pickups, course lessons, short-form voiceovers, and timed spots. Each line stays connected to its takes, ratings, notes, waveform, measured capture level, and chosen winner. Key features - Sentence, paragraph, or manual line splitting - Up to 8 takes per line (configurable) - Live waveform and level feedback while recording - Ratings, notes, A/B comparison, and best-take suggestions - Second Pass queue for focused pickup sessions - Custom gaps and a stitched timeline preview - Target timing for 15, 30, 60, 90, or custom-length spots - Session analytics for pacing, levels, efficiency, and keeper time - Delivery QC for winner coverage, redo flags, timing, levels, and pacing - Shareable QC brief and CSV cue sheet - On-device cleanup, silence trim, loudness targeting, and mastering - WAV or M4A export with local export history No account is required. Take a Stack has no advertising, analytics SDK, tracking, or cloud upload. Scripts, recordings, and exports stay in the app's local storage unless you choose to share them.

What's New in Take a Stack

2.1

August 13, 2026

Delivery QC now checks winner coverage, second-pass flags, target timing, capture levels, and pacing before export. Share a concise QC brief, then master locally to WAV or M4A. This update also improves reliability and refreshes the App Store presentation with current in-app screens.
