This is only a five star because in want you to save this
I will say that my actual rating would be two stars but I know you guys won’t be able to see this if I rate it two stars. Let’s start with the PROS. The good parts about this game is the look… and that’s the only good thing so far. The game looks exactly like cuphead graphic wise and has the overall same idea to. Bit that is it for the pros, let’s move on to the CONS and why you shouldn’t waste your storage on this. The game controls are so bad that I almost screamed. The music does not fit the battles at all and the battles don’t even have sound of what’s going on. This game is just a confusing mess and I am never going to play this again.

Could be GREAT isn’t there yet
There is a new release coming very soon. I hope has things like different levels.. a consistent weapon, better controls to move foreword or backward, more power ups that are not caught in the sky but able to be equipped. I’m picturing of course cup head flight levels. This could be one of the best games in the iOS store. But just isn’t there yet. Crossing fingers for the second

Literally everything you’re asking for is fixed in Take Flight 2! We have joystick controls for every direction. We have a button that you can shoot all the time. And power ups are based off a system we call “scraps” which are dropped off enemies. Thanks so much for the review and we truly hope you enjoy the new one! It’ll be out on the 24th (Friday)!
Good app great job but one major problem
OK so this app is great very good job it’s fun and addictive but the major problem is the controls! It took me 18 days to finish the first level! I mean that is pretty crazy. So in the sequel make the controls easier. OK see ya.

I enjoy the 1930s aesthetic I enjoy that there is this game and yes I know it’s inspired my cuphead and it was done very well I’m happy that there isn’t ads unless you want to be revived which I do appreciate very good game I recommend it

One word, CONTROLS
Why is there no normal gun instead of it being an item. It should be drag to move up and down and tap to shot. And there needs to be at least ONE boss in a cuphead rip off. I’ve seen TO MANY RIP OFFS ON THIS STUPID APP. I’M SICK OF THESE DUMB GAMES. IF YOUR GONNA MAKE THESE S T U P I D GAMES THEN I’M GOING TO CALL APPLE. Morale of the story: D O N ‘ T M A K E T H E S E

Thanks for the feedback and sorry it took so long to reply. We just started development on a sequel. In the sequel we already have drag to move in all directions and tap to shoot mechanics. I can't guarantee bosses but I can guarantee MUCH more content. This game was rushed and had little content due to lack of funding. But the sequel is completely backed by a new publisher and will provide a lot more content. Follow our page on social media to get more information!

Hey I was wondering if there were anymore than the three enemies I have seen and also I should get back into the game and make the achievements work.
Unable to play
I downloaded this game cause it looked good. Their was an tour of how to play but I skipped it cause of corse I wanna play but I really don’t know how to shoot so that makes this unfair you should be able to read instructions any time instead of just once.

Levels and Controls
Overall I think this is a very good game. It is very similar to the game “Cuphead”. I do have a few suggestions though.
I think you should make the controls a little smoother. When you press to go up and release to go down, you keep going up for a little bit before you come down. Also, I think there should be levels. Instead of just one thing, there should be something like goals or achievements you need to make to unlock new worlds. Kind of similar to Cuphead. I feel that more people would play and more people would play longer because they want to unlock those new worlds. People are normally very curious so, if you make new worlds, curiosity will make people keep playing to see the new worlds.

HiI downloaded this game because I thought it was like close to cuphead and I wasSurprise that they had one on the App Store but I was wrong how do you even control the plane it’s so hard I don’t like the game I’m not trying to be rude I know you tried your best but I just don’t like it in my opinion you might want to add something else to make it easier to fly the plane but OK I know you tried your hardestBut work on it a little more

There’s a quick tutorial at the beginning explaining the controls. You press and hold to go up and release to go down. We were planning on adding touch joysticks for controls but haven’t had time to support the game recently with all the craziness in the world. Thanks for the feedback though it’s greatly appreciated!

Pretty awesome game, don’t have much time on my hands but during down time it’s definitely fun!
a rip off of cuphead
The gameplay is a original but everything else is a rip from Cuphead . The app icon is yellow and Cuphead app icon is yellow two . And it took the 1930’s style from Cuphead with made it stand out from other games. You have to drive in a plan and in some levels in Cuphead you fly in a plane.
10/10!
