About

Taken reminds you when to take your medicine — and remembers whether you took it. That's it. Simple, reliable, and designed for people who need their reminders to actually work. Your schedule, not the clock's: Most reminder apps only let you set fixed times — "8 AM, 12 PM, 4 PM." But what if you wake up at 9? Now everything's off. Taken works differently: tell it "every 4 hours after I wake up," and it builds your day around when you actually get up. Wake early or late — your doses stay properly spaced. And for medicines that must be taken at set times, fixed daily schedules work too. You choose, per medicine. Alarms, not notifications: Your reminder sounds like an alarm clock — loud enough to hear even when your phone is on silent, the screen is off, or you're napping. Take, snooze, or skip right from the alarm. How it works: Tap "I'm Awake" when you start your day. Taken sets your reminders and sounds an alarm when each dose is due. When it goes off, one or two taps confirms you took it — no complicated screens. Food timing, handled: Some medicines work best on an empty stomach. Set a no-food window before and after a dose, get a gentle "finish eating by..." heads-up, and see a clear green / amber / red status of where you stand. See it at a glance: Add the Home Screen widget to see your last dose, next dose, and any active food window — without opening the app. Built for real life: - Took a dose early? Log it and the rest of your day shifts automatically. - Skipped one? Tell us why — we'll remember. - Not sure if you took it? Check the Today screen. - Going to bed? Tap "I'm going to sleep" and Taken wraps up your day. Private and offline: Everything stays on your iPhone. No account, no cloud, no tracking — nothing is sent anywhere. Taken works completely offline; no internet needed, ever. Free: Every feature works for everyone, with nothing behind a paywall. Taken is a reminder tool, not a medical device. It does not give medical advice. Always follow your doctor's instructions, and keep another reminder as a backup for anything critical.
