Moved in with no truck, no problem
Needed a couch and mattress delivered from Facebook Marketplace across town. Booked a delivery on TAKL, guy picked it up and had it in my apartment that day. Saved me from begging friends with trucks.

Needed a little extra money on the side and this has been a great app to pick up a few jobs on the weekend.
Finally got a GO To App
Needed a some boxes hauled off from a birthday party. Also, handyman assembled some patio furniture for the summer. Solid guy and communicated well with us throughout the process. Will use again.
Love This App
I was buried with little chores and needed an extra set of hands on few truck loads mulch and shelving units. No problems - Great service, fast responses, and very helpful.

Super helpful App
Had several chores before the weekend and this app was helped for me with getting several folks out and knocking out my to do list. Each were responsive, and helpful with getting things done. Would recommend for any mom.
Helpful to get a few things done
Moved in 2026 and there was a few things needed done to get the new place ready. Had several TAKL providers knockout some paint and shelves for the kids rooms. Fast, professional, and helpful. Will use again soon.
Worthless
I live in Florida, will not accept my address. Says not serving areas of CA and OR ? Deleted App and redownloaded 5 times. Same thing. Waste of time.
Takl app
One star is too high of a rating. Paid $100 to become a provider. Jobs were slim pickings and the app shut down over the covid19. Shouldn’t I be reimbursed since it was Takl’s decision to shut down?
Warning warning warning
There is a $50 background check charge in which they will attempt to charge on your account. The photos and screenshots that you see on this Marketing app or not what do you think this app is not what you think in the ratings are rigged. they have The same amount of customers as donut shop has of people looking for hamburgers. You don’t have to believe me go ahead and download and give them your information you’ve been warned.

Update: You must waive your privacy rights to use the app. My location was tracked when I was not conducting a Takl job, they concluded that I was at a previous customers address and they disabled my account. When I actuality I was conducting a job for a neighbor of a previous customer. They didn’t inquire about it, they simply disabled my account. This company is scary.
Absolutely the worst customer service in the world. A customer contact me to change the time of the appointment and it had to be elevated three levels of customer support to get approval. The technical help folks are trash, they aren’t trained or knowledgeable in their own platform. They give the same exact cookie cutter responses to everything just like the developer will in a reply to this review and in hopes that I will message them so they can ban me for the bad review.
-Takl takes a MASSIVE chunk of the payout not having done anything, somewhere in the park of 50%.
-Takl takes way more than they should from your earnings!
-You CANNOT communicate with the customer for additional details or anything prior to accepting the job. So you are going blind half the time because customers are not required to put any details in the listing.

Confusing Pay and Rating Page
I would give five stars because I really enjoyed my experience with the app. I had a great experience setting up my account. Creating a chore and getting a provider out we’re a breeze. Mark came out and did an unbelievably wonderful job mowing my lawn! BUT I am still somewhat unfamiliar with the app, so unfortunately, when it came time to pay I missed the part where I could rate the service and leave a tip!!! It let me continue to pay the base amount without rating the service or ensuring I wanted to leave no tip!!! I get that this was user error, but there should be a check built-in to the app to ensure that you are okay paying without leaving any amount of tip! There should be a check built-in to the app to question if you don’t want to leave any rating at all for your service! After I “chatted” with tech support, I was able to have their finance department add on a tip after the fact which is good because Mark deserved it and did a wonderful job with the lawn. But I cannot give him the five stars he deserves which I’m sure would help him on the app in the future. App developers, please read customer reviews and address these issues!!!

Good App - how about landscape?
So this is a good app. It’s very easy to check prices and look at jobs that you might want for your home and yard. Hey Takl for those of us using an Ipad (especially an IPad Pro) how about making this app work in landscape mode as well as portrait? Our company just switched to one device and that device is the big IPad Pro. I use the Pro in landscape more about 99% of the time with a bluetooth keyboard, you know, like the laptop that your wrote the app on. Make it in landscape for the ever increasing number of people that live and work in a post PC world and use their Ipad as their laptop!!

Excellent source when looking for an individual to complete a task, high quality customer service provided by TAKL app associates.
First time
This the first time using Takl and will for use again. Easy and straightforward. Contractor was on time, very nice, and completed job with no issues. Can’t wait to Takl the next project. Thx.
Watch out
The Job was to be $137. The contractor arrived and everything was an extra cost. It ended up costing me an extra $180 and then he sat there and waited for me to give him five stars before he left.
Same day ceiling repair
What do you do when you wake up to a ceiling buckle due to a water leak upstairs? I used Takl for the first time and had a competent repair team that day. Thanks for a great service!
App keeps closing
App will shut down unexpectedly or will freeze. I have had my account suspended twice because of app not working correctly. Have had app for about 3 months.
