Dysfunctional Wish List
If you are like me, you look at everything (or everything on sale) and save items to your wish list to go back and review. Sometimes, it takes the app a bit of time to add things to your wish list. Even worse, when you finally get into your wish list, updating the list is the most tedious, frustrating process. You can’t bulk delete and each single product deletion takes FOREVER. The app has been like this for YEARS. With most people shopping online and from their mobile devices, you’d think Talbots would want to streamline the processes on the app to work quickly for their customers in order to provide a positive customer experience. Nope. Status quo and the app continues to load slowly. I have an Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max and have tried deleting and reloading the app with no luck. So… if you have the patience of a sloth, you can get things to delete items from your wish list. 🙄🦥 UPDATE: I have spent HOURS the last several days deleting items from my wish list while watching mindless TV. It’s awful! Suggestions for the developers… the Cars.com app allows you to delete all unavailable items, which is nice! Many sites will also allow you to clear your entire wish list. Frankly, I’d rather do that and start over than deal with the way it is set up on this app (and website). Amazon wish lists are easy to manage from the app… but the Talbots wish list is like working in 1991 dial-up internet… or worse! 🤬

On-line Shopping
I do most of my shopping on-line. Though Talbots can be expensive, I put my selections on a Wish List. I wait for their sales to buy my items. I find their blouses, sweaters, and jackets to be a good fit on me. I love their styles, too. Sadly, most American clothing come from
China, Singapore, India, Vietnam, etc. Not often, but sometimes I find the quality or sizing “off” but I have a Talbots in my city so it’s easy to return an item as store associates are very kind and helpful. It’s good to report to them what you didn’t like about a product.

App won't load

Unusable App
I was so frustrated with the website interface that I decided to download the app, in hopes that it would be better. I abandoned my shopping bag because I could not deal with how slow it was loading and the fact that you couldn’t go back to where you just were. The back arrow only presents itself periodically. Awful.

Too slow to load!
An app that’s too slow to load makes for a very frustrating shopping experience. I should have read the reviews before i installed the app yesterday. I’m going back to shopping the website via browser which is so much better.
Quality of clothing is ok, but app cannot open PayPal.
A lot of reviewers complaining about clothing quality. It might not be as good as in the past but still better than most. My issue is I can’t use PayPal. The app doesn’t open the PayPal tab. I’m not going to order until I can use PayPal.
PayPal never loads
Very frustrating as I like to use PayPal when I order but the link to PayPal never works so I have to find my purse and manually put in my credit card info. This has been going on for a long time.
Pay pal issues
When you select pay pal a pop up shows up asking you if you want to open this link. When you select yes another pop up says if you don’t see pop up select continue and we will help you launch link. When you hit continue another pop up says switch tabs to reactivate. You wind up in this loop until you hit the back arrow to start over. Very frustrating. It does work on occasion. But not usually.

Still not able to use online payments
After more than two months, online payment center still does not work. Get unformatted yes/no pop to go to payments and does nothing. Someone told me to delete the app and reload; I deleted the app but only can open it from the App Store. I am not able to reload it. This will be the third month that I have to telephone Talbots to make a payment. Unbelievable. Same situation with web.

Incredibly inefficient
Like others, VERY SLOW and not at all buyer friendly.
Doesn’t Load
The app loads slowly or not at all. Why even bother with an app you can’t even use? All you can see if you see anything are the icons at the bottom of the screen. It works for awhile, then it stops loading once again.
Apparently the app still isn't fixed

Broken
All I ever see when I open app is a white screen. This has happened for months. Came here to see reviews and found out someone else had issue and it “was being worked on”
Very slow loading app
The app is very slow to load and finalizing order is rough. Often times just left in limbo. Not a good app!
Worst app EVER!!

Talbots, you’d be better served removing this horrible app until you have something that’s functional. I think it makes your company look very unprofessional to have something this shoddy.

Talbots woman’s clothing APP not working
Tried several times download/delete/download this APP for Talbots Store and icons still not functional so what is wrong with the developer for this App months and months of error and it still NOT being fixed.. so frustrating..!!!
Bad App
I don’t even know why this app is still on the App Store. It does not work! These reviews are from a long time ago and it still isn’t fixed.

Super frustrating. App acts like it is going to load and you just sit and stare at a white screen. It has options at the bottom (that don’t work either), but nothing loads. It might, if I waited long enough. But, no thanks!
Wow-app is USELESS
Wow, for a company like this to have such a useless, glitchy, old, broken app is embarrassing! What a shame. Will no longer waste my time shopping with this company.
Dysfunctional app
Talbots app stopped working completely a month ago or so. After signing in, the app goes blank-white except for the options at the bottom of the screen. Tried deleting & downloading again—same result. I’m a frequent Talbots customer and this is FRUSTRATING.
